Weapons: An elegant longbow made out of a Kull's horns and two sais that are strapped behind his back and are accessible near the waist. Magic, although since he is half ismalian, the spells he uses sometimes doesn't turn out well...

Other Info: He was once a member of the Black Hand, but now serves under the Dragon Riders as protection detail (which he sometimes wonders whats the point since the Dragons can just eat people with ease). He pretty much is a gopher for the Dragons and their Riders. (HA!)
Since the thread "To Control a People", Kyler is now the Rider of the icy blue dragon, Typhon.
History: His background is known little by the majority of the Empire, which has always given him a mysterious feel, not to mention his odd skin tone and hair color. Unknown to anyone, Kyler is the son of Rider Sidhion and an Ismalian princess. He was found in Ceunon, living on the streets as a guild rat, when he was 3 by an nobleman who was traveling there on business (Kyler was trying to pick the man's pocket and got caught). Finding the defiant Kyler amusing and intriguing at the same time, the nobleman, who turned out to be an assassin working for the Black Hand, took Kyler as his apprentice.
For 20 years, Kyler learned the art of killing, rivaling as one of the best wetboys for the King. Although his magic skills are mediocre compared to the others, Kyler has mastered the art of stealth and disguise. When he was 23, Kyler was appointed to the Dragon Riders for various services. Despite his frustration for the lack of use of his skills, Kyler upholds his duty to this day.
As of the thread "Gifts and Curses", he has fallen in love with the Rider Vana. In some time between "Gifts and Curses" and "To Control a People", Kyler confessed his love for Vana, only to be rejected. Heartbroken and manipulated by the Ancient Rider Sidhion, Kyler goes under his apprenticeship and even learns to control the Green Emerald from Ismalia.
In "To Control a People", Kyler returns with Sidhion to aid the Empire on its attack on the Varden, but holds a secret agenda to fight the Queen Mother Tenal Ka for the Emeralds she possesses. Kyler returns with a more stoic and emotionless demeanor, adapting is Master's habits and persona. However, he still harbors feelings for Vana. It is revealed that Sidhion has been beating Kyler, which enrages Vana. It is made known that Sidhion manipulated both Vana and Kyler so that Kyler would go under his apprenticeship. Kyler and Vana confess their love for each other and essentially become a couple. Kyler also finds a dragon egg of icy blue color. It hatches for him prior to the battle. Kyler names him Typhon, after the Ancient Dragon Locien comments on the young hatchling's amazing power that is comparable to another dragon he once knew. During this battle, Kyler is critically injured in the head and remains in a coma for a certain duration.
In "Damsels", Kyler awakes from his coma, but remembers nothing of himself. He learns that he is a dragon rider after having a rather hysterical meeting with his dragon. He also learns that his Father, who is Sidhion, is evil. He and Vana had some "complicated" relationship. Although he doesn't remember Vana, he knows that she is someone very important to him.
Between "Damsels" and "Goodbye May Seem Forever", Kyler has recovered some past memories, but they are still unhelpful to him. His love for Vana continues to grow, but the two are still estranged. In "Goodbye May Seem Forever", Kyler and Typhon leave in order to gain his memories back, despite their yearning to stay with Vana and Viel.
As of "Joyous Returns", Kyler and Typhon have returned. Kyler has regained his memories. He has rekindled his relationship with Vana.

Role Play Sample: "This has got to be a joke." Kyler stared at his Master with a whiny expression.
"The King has called for your services." His Master said with a bored tone.
"He wants me to fetch things for the Riders! They're perfectly capable of protecting themselves! Its a waste of talent!" Kyler argued.
"You have been chosen for a high honor! Like always, I expect you to treat your duties with the utmost respect!" His Master revealed the depth of his anger and slapped him across the face.
Kyler flinched as he was struck, still astounded that this old man could get the best of him - he didn't even see that coming. "Yes, Master." Kyler grumbled.
"Who knows, Kyler, perhaps the King will see the true extent of your talent soon enough...besides, you get to work for the Riders. That is a service any Black Hand member would kill for."
"Yes, Master." Kyler tightened his jaws.
"You report to Rider Vana within the hour for your debriefing." His Master continued.
"Yes, Master Blint." Kyler repeated.
"Good luck, boy." Master Blint dismissed Kyler and the young man headed towards his room, perhaps changing out of his grey tunics for the last time.
