For when I can get back into posting he's my main base. Although I enjoy Turreck and Jacobla even more some times...

Character's name: Galdrohk
Character's attitude: 127
Character's Race: Elf
Character's appearance: Like most elves, Galdrohk is taller and more slender than most humans. He has long brown hair and blue green eyes. What sets him apart from other elves is not great beauty, but rather a great, averageness. You wouldn’t mistake him as a human because the differences between the two races are so great but among elves he is neither short nor tall. He is unextraordinary, which is a strange trait as far as elves are concerned.
Character's allegiance: Varden.
Weapons: Though Galdrohk is proficient with light swords he much prefers to fight with a bow or magic, as those are the areas where he excels.
Other Info: Galdrohk is often withdrawn and introspective but he does enjoy good company, and the feeling that he can be a part of something larger. It was this desire to change things that led him to join the cause of the Varden. He has no pets nor family, apart from a rather unpleasant sister who still lives in Ellesmera.
History: Galdrohk was born in Ellesmera and live there for the better part of his life. It was here where he refined his skills in archery and magics. Later on he discovered other fields of study such as philosophy and the speculation of the natural processes that elves were wont to investigate. It was when he first adopted this more intellectual way of living when he felt the need to stop being idle. At the age of 77 he decided that he would join the Varden. He had little family left in Ellesmera and none especially close in blood other than his sister. Recently, Galdrohk has passed his fiftieth year serving the Varden. His skills in magic used to be very important within the organization but since the advent of the riders he has fallen back to less work. This has proved pleasant so far, as he was able to resume his various studies, but he is beginning to feel idle once more and leaps at any chance to venture out into the world and see what he can make of himself once again.
Role Play Sample:
It is in this fashion that we can relate our own toils to those of various other creatures. It is this fact that leads us to believe that all life is driven by certain desires and basic flaws...
Galdrohk read quietly within his tent. He was well aware that the Varden were much stronger than they were until even recently, and that they would probably never move en masse again. He still could not bring himself to tie his fate to a patch of land though, it was a mundane fate.
Galdrohk moved whenever the Varden needed some one to move. They rarely had dire need for him since their gain in dragon riders who greatly rivaled his own skills. Nowadays he helped where he could, taught who would listen, and tried to keep his skills up to date. This was good in that it gave him time to read many unfinished manuscripts but it was also bad. For the first time in 50 years Galdrohk was dreadfully bored. He leaned back on his bed and allowed his eyes to close for a moment, so he could try to examine his situation in more detail, then a knock interrupted his reverie.
“Sir, I was sent to ask you to assist in the training of some new recruits.” it was some messenger sent from somewhere further up in the command.
“What of the riders?”
“They are off on quests of their own, we don’t question their fancies when they are our greatest line of defense.” the messenger seemed put off when he questioned there whereabouts.
Galdrohk laughed. “Then you must become used to this, riders do little more than chase their whims until some great need arises. Show me these recruits.”
With some faked annoyance and a sense of relief Galdrohk spent the day immersed in the rudimentary aspects of magic.
