Character's attitude: Seth has been a Rider since The Second Dragon War, was present at The Battle of Burning Planes, The Siege of Galbatorix's Castle and the founding of the Bromsland. With his long battle experience and a life of hardships, Seth is withdrawn, pensive and uses Gallow's Humor to help cope with the more brutal parts of war. As a teacher, Seth has tutored multiple pupils. Students note that Seth is exacting and expects every student to give their maximum effort. As a mentor, Seth is a rigorous task master and won't hesitate to let his students learn through failure. Family is of the highest importance and Seth's eldest son Duane is his world. Every battle is won with the only goal being to return home in one piece for his wife and child. In battle, Seth and Abaddon are the picture of brutality. Using savagery and cruelty to intimidate opponents Seth is spared the judgement of The Rider Council due to the fact that he is a founding Rider and his tactics, while unpleasant to witness, still get results. Any fight Seth enters is swift, merciless and over as quickly as possible. Rather than using killing words to snuff life out instantly, Seth has earned the name "Pale Rider" due to siphoning off the life of magically unprotected opponents to empower himself during battle. Other Riders witnessing this tactic are put off or outright sickened by the sight of enemies blackening and withering on their feet before falling to the ground as a wizened husk of a human. Seth's outlook can be summed up thus "I will do whatever is required to secure victory and return home safely.".
Cool and detached he is a great tactical thinker, dedicated, stubborn, and ruthless in battle he gives no inch to his opponents.

Character's appearance: Seth is habitually wearing battle worn and blackened armor. Wielding a dark wine colored Brightsteel Spear named Sundavar, Seth's appearance is imperious and often intimidating, his size, self assured and careful posture as well as his formal way of communicating can be seen as aloof and haughty. When not in armor, Seth wears simple tunics, usually in some shade of purple as well as leather boots, with his blond hair closely cropped and his square jaw is always clean shaven. His features soften considerably around his son and his wife.
6ft 2in, close cut Blond Hair, muscular build, a very strong jaw, bright husky blue eyes. Weathered hands.

History: The son of a soldier for the Varden once the eggs arrived he was one of the children to try and pair off with an egg. At the age of 16 he thought he would never be a Rider and make his father proud. While wandering outside the camp he found it in a pile of bushes, digging amongst the crushed brush he found it the Purple egg. He hid it in his families ten. It was the color of the Night Sky and sinister looking an egg so dark might contain a dragon meant for someone as sinister as the egg appeared. The little hatchling was as beautiful as the dusk with eyes like Amethysts and horns as black as pitch. Bonding quickly they trained with the other Riders growing more and more similar. When it came time to choose a weapon a sword just wasn’t effective on Dragon back, instead Rhunon made a Spear dark as the Shadows, with Sundavar (Shadows) in the haft. The purple Spear is unbreakable and always returns to Seth’s hand. Abaddon is the meaning for Seth’s existence, without him Seth would go mad. Now ready to fight for the Varden he is setting out from the Surdan Palace to join the other Riders in their march on Uru’baen.

Pain took his hand off the Erasers face, he was sweating allot and the blood vessels in his eyes had burst from the strain of the pain wracking his whole body. “Where do you animals congregate!” Pain screamed. The mangy animal spit on him and Pain clamped his hand down on the dog’s face again, the male screamed in agony as Pain activated every nerve in the dog’s body turning him into one large mass of swirling agony. Pain laughed and took his hand off the Erasers face “Speak boy!”Pain back handed him sending a spike of pain shooting along his every synapse. It was obvious he wouldn’t talk. Pain hated this part. He punched the animal in the face and sent with it his touch of paralysis. Pain lifted the dog up and heaved him over the side of the roof of the 100 story building. Poor mangy mutt would feel the impact. Pain spread his black wings and launched himself off the roof and into the night sky to finish his rounds. Pain saw another Eraser perched on a roof not too far away, tonight might actually give him some results.

Dragons Appearance: Royal Purple scales with Violet wing membranes, Amethyst eyes, Black claws, spikes, and horns. A very muscular dragon he is still average height for his age yet he is far more bulky than his age range.
Dragons Personality: Frighteningly similar to his rider Abaddon and Seth bonded quickly. Cool and analytical he makes decisions quickly. Always planning 2 steps ahead just like his Rider. Just like his rider he has a dark personality and a dark sense of humor.
