plots, sub plots, inter character plots...???

I was wondering if we could have a sub bored to post our ideas for plots/threads or like a time line when things happened in the past and outline of the future.

Whether they be about major plot sub plots and inter character plots

Major plot: obviously the story line... so not so much maby your characters role in it?

Sub plot: could be site plot or things that are happening.. major battles

Inter character plots: story lines that we have created for our characters...

Call them what you want... i know that that^^ is a realy ruff outline but i found it hard when reading other characters and responding, it helps to have something more to tell you what there all about or what their motivations are and their experiences. The obvious thing would be to go to the characters apps and read through it.
But have you noticed how much your characters evolve from the apps that you wrote.



I’ll do an example of maybe a time line:

Obviously there can be more detail.. But that’s my characters time line so far... i could add links to threads and then maby write in characters that are needed in the thread or are in the thread, or weather its open like you would on title of threads ECT.
its realy like a character index.



I’ve seen some sites even have character diaries although I can never be bothered post them or read them.

Another thing is maybe just a bored that you can make threads with ideas for plots or threads

Well, plots and subplots might be put in the "Plot Archive." It's the very top board. Trinn's got her former plotline up there (the one she had before Brisingr came out), and I've also posted a subplot that has to do with Ismalia up there.

As for timelines...holy junk, that could get complicated! Here's what the timeline for my character Marola would look like:

Marola, Morzan's daughter, is born in Gil'ead. Her mother dies.
Meets and becomes friend with Maxwell.
Watches her father killed by Brom, swears vegeance--is seven years old.
Moves to Uru'baen.
Ten years old: starts assassin training
Seventeen: completes training, starts going on missions, meets the biggest mistake of her life, Tyr Valentine
Twenty-three:
steals dragon egg from Varden, egg hatches, names him Rauthr.
trains as a Dragon Rider
Meets Nerasa, hates her
Becomes friends with Nerasa, receives a locket that belonged to her mother
Loses locket, Galbatorix finds it.
Kalri returns locket to Marola.
Marola opens locket, discovers her mother was an elf.
Becomes friends with Kalri.
Meets Gianna, dislikes her, but helps her from making a mistake with Tyr.
*unknown time passes* Watches Galbatorix torture and kill Jeriah.
Goes on a mission to *ahem* kill Jeriah again.
Meets Caleb, falls in love with him, makes plans to become neutral.
Plans disrupted by Tyr. Caleb leaves.
Makes her usual stupid mistake with Tyr, becomes pregnant.
*unknown time passes* Tells Tyr about baby, then regrets it.
Zak is assigned to her as a bodyguard
Tyr tries to convince her that he cares about her and the baby, but she doesn't buy it.
Tyr threatens her and storms out.
Afraid, she runs to Gil'ead and hides there until the baby is born.
Returns to Uru'baen, hiding her son's existance from Galbatorix.
Discovers Tyr is dead. There is much rejoicing.
Leaves Galbatorix's service, spends three years running from the Empire.
Is caught by Galbatorix, sends Cortell to the Varden to be taken care of by Einar.
Is tortured by Galbatorix.
Escapes with Nerasa's help.
travels to Varden, then to Gladia Celesti.
Is reunited with Cortell. Joins Gladia Celesti.
Fights with Slaton and Sin, partially blinds Sin in one eye, escapes.
Falls in love with Marcus.


And that's about where I am with her. That's what she gets for being my most developed character. And I'm not even sure that's everything. lol

Well then. I was considering keeping it all a secret but oh, well.

Varda and Elladan will obviously meet in mortal combat everytime theres a battle (and sometimes when there isn't). Eventually either Elladan will turn good or he will die.

Lucian is invincible escept when faced with the harm of those closest to him. Since its kinda difficult to threaten giant, million year-old dragon, Grace is his love interest. (no one comment on the age, she's a half-blood anyway)

Jafar will take (the one character who wants to be his understudy) as an apprentice. Sideon will play a major role in that.

Sideon is going to kidnap my latest creation (heh, heh, heh) that should lead to some serios emnity.
