Elianora, rider of sky blue Soranai, allegiance to the Varden, married to Ferlan, who is diseased. She has a daughter she left in Du Weldenvarden.
Raylian, rider of silver K'laestn, and one of the Ancient Riders who lately returned from a mission exterminating lethrblaka and such in a far-off land.
Salian, rider of storm-gray and evil dragon Torlynden, he is alleged to the Empire, has spirit control powers, and some serious personal issues. . . his dragon, for example.

Aiden Gosling, Rider of Lenora - wielder of Istalri. Lenora is Red.
Empire Riders
Selene Fox, Rider of Slade - wielder of a larger Claymore and servant of Galbatorix. A dragon hunter as well. Slade is black.
Kyler Archer, Rider of Typhon - wielder of two sais and servant to Galbatorix. Son of the Ancient, Sidhion. Typhon is Ice Blue.
Ismalia
Tristan Sykes, Rider of Trinity - wielder of a broadsword and chest knives. Prince of Ismalia. Trinity is Gold.
Ancient Rider
Sidhion, Rider of Locien - wielder of Reona and is an Ancient. Alligence to himself. Locien is Ice blue.
