I think that Eldest should be a movie because the first book became one but I kinda don't want it to because they really messed up the first movie a lot. The reason why i would want it to be a movie is because I kinda want to know what Gleadr looks like in film, along with Thorn in the film along with Eragon's transformation if they don't mess that up.
What do you think guys, should it be a movie or not?

i would like the movie to made for the same reasons too, but they left far too much out of the Eragon movie. like Elva, Solombum, Jeod, Teirm, Orik, Horthgar, Eragons afliction after Durza cut his back. and Arya and Eragon were suppose to go to Du Weldevarden together. I think they should re-make Eragon in a few years maybe and put more in it. there is no reason why the movie cant go longer and put more in.

Yeah, I agree. They need to remake Eragon before making Eldest or else there would be no point; they left out too much of the important stuff like the prophecy.

Peter Jackson should re-make Eragon, he did such a great job with LOTR. Even though he they did leave bits out of that, it still made sense enough. And you could watch all the movies and know what was going on. Yeah, i reckon after he is finished with the Hobbit, he should do Eragon. Maybe even have Saphira grow up properly!

thats the problem these days. so many people arent reading books! they just wait for the movie to come out. so movie makers have to alter books on the scripts so stupid people who dont read can understand it. they dont care about the book lovers and fans, just so long as the wider community can understand it, thats all they care about. making money.

I know what you mean. I think the people who don't read the books should be, in a way, made to read them before they go to the movie, but then again you can't make people do what you want them to do.

I know. They are missing out on the good stuff from books. I think that there should be something that has kids reading during the summer and the school year. Like the government or soemthing should set something up.

for sure! here we have this thing called the MS read-a-thon. where kids go around asking people to sponser them to read books to rais money for MS, they only do it once a year, and the kids a loosing intrest in it all. i dont really know many kids who can read out loud, like they dont have to confidence to do it. its really sad when you think about it. i could read all day! well i do lol. there needs to be something that gets kids away from the TV and doing something diffrent.

Like see who can read the most books out loud and the winner could get a prize at the end something cool. Here we really don't have anything just that we have to stay in homeroom on mondays and read something. It sucks but I love to read though.

Yeah true. I can't beleive that kids don't realise that reading is important (sp) but still.
