Character's name: Arquen
Character's age: 142
Character's attitude: Arquen is most of the time calm and rational, thinking before she acts. She is warm-hearted, something that is not very common among Galbatorix's subjects, and she is often sweet to others. However, as rare as the occasion is, her anger will spark an irrational fury that often ends up with someone being dead.
Character's Race: elf
Character's appearance: Arquen has long, silver hair and sea-gray eyes. She wears a black tunic and leggings, embroidered with silver. She is tall and beautiful, as most elves are.
Character's allegiance: Empire, the Black Hand
Weapons: An elegant yew bow, with the arrows she made herself. She refuses to use any other arrows. She also carries an elven dagger at her side for close-ranged defense.
History: Arquen was born in Ellesmera to elf nobles, and grew up practically as a princess, receiving everything she desired. She had a peaceful life, but around fifty years ago, she and her father had a serious falling out, which steadily got worse, until one day someone tried to kill her. The very act sparked Arquen's furious anger, and, suspecting her father, she slaughtered him and left Du Weldenvarden, never looking back. Only twice more since that day has her anger ever gone that far.
She was eventually captured by Galbatorix's men, and she willingly volunteered to join his Black Hand. She became known in his court as a precise and deadly assassin, and her black-fletched arrows are the trademark of her work.
Role Play Sample:
Arquen stood on top of one of the castle walls, looking out at the sprawling city beneath her. The early morning breeze was cool and the air was clear. As she observed the people below, she thought of how this would be a good place to spot a target, high up where no one could see her. But she had no targets in this city today; indeed, her next assignment was to be in Surda, though she couldn't go until tomorrow. That was fine by her, though. She was not anxious to leave yet, and she had somewhere else to be tonight.
After breathing in for a while, she made her way down. Taking a walk through the dragon courtyard, she made her way to the palace door to begin to prepare for her journey.
