Character's Name: Satoru
Character's Age: Young
Character's Attitude: Much like his sister Sakura, Satoru's personality was influenced by his family. His mother gave him her love of nature and optimistic outlook on life. Though he sees life in a very different view from everyone else, it seems that it is most like his mother's, seeing the good in people before the bad. His father gave him his appreciation for the arts of weaponry and fighting, the love for family, and the passion to fight for the right of others before himself. Zamah gave him the need for connections to the people he is close with and the ferocity in fighting. Oranthor gave him much wisdom beyond his years and with it, can think things through even more deeply than his parents can. He has a strong connection with his sister, Sakura, and would do anything he could to protect her, just as she would do for him. He has a deep understanding of words and is an amazing writer, even at his young age.
Character's Race: Human
Character's Appearance:
Satoru has bright orange hair that springs in every which direction and purple eyes that hold a love for life. He usually wears plain, but colorful tunics, black britches, and dark leather boots. A belt is always around his waist with one of Lathem's black daggers fastened to it.
Character's Allegiance: His family. Varden
Weapons: Lathem gave Satoru one of his two black daggers as a present and it is always present in a black sheath at his waist. Magic, but not as powerful as Sakura's.
Other Info: His names means "Enlightenment"
History: Satoru was the second of a pair of twins born to Lathem and Jeriah. Like his sister, and yet unlike her, he was born with amber orange hair matching that of Oranthor and purple eyes matching that of Zamah. His sister Sakura was gifted with extreme magical abilities while Satoru was born with limited use of magic. Instead, he was born with the gift of fighting. His motions with the sword are fluid and graceful, while deadly and accurate. Even at a young age, he can almost outmatch his father. Though he is master at fighting at his young age, his heart is in a different place. He can spend hours in nature without a hint of boredom and can talk to strangers for hours about anything and everything. His history is barely written and his future is sure.
Role-Play Sample: Breeze lifted Satoru's hair from his face and carried it for a moment in the air before gently letting it drop back across his eyes. Perfect white clouds crawled across the blue sky as Satoru's eyes trailed Zamah and Oranthor flying. His mind drifted across the many things alive beneath him on the ground. The spiders crawling up trees, the ants picking at the remains of a salamander, his parents holding hands at the kitchen table, his sister under their blossomed cherry tree...Moments like these were what he lived for, what he loved. When everything was peaceful.
"Satoru?"
Satoru started at his father's voice and rolled over onto his stomach to hang his head over the edge of their roof.
"Yeah, Dad?"
Lathem looked up at Satoru and smiled that smile that filled Satoru with pride.
"Nothing, Son. I just wanted to see your face."
