The Fourth Era, 124:
Over a hundred years after the Oblivion crisis have passed. Since that time, all of Tamriel has been thrown into chaos. The Colovian warlord, Titus Mede, has conquered the Imperial City in Cyrodiil and his son, Attrebus Mede, now rules as Emperor.
To the south, the Thalmor of Summerset Isle have begun their uprising, with obvious plans to conquer Tamriel and set themselves up as High Elf rulers. Already, their strongholds have been established in Valenwood and Elsweyr.
With the threat of conquest looming, everyone reacts differently. Many offer prayers to the Nine, asking for protection. Others turn to the Daedric princes for power to overthrow their enemies.
Will you join the Altmer in their daily push to control the world, or will you resist them with the humans? Or will you simply go your own way in the world? The fate of Tamriel lies in your hands.
