Mar stalked quietly from the rooftops, watching his target as a hawk watches its prey. Without a sound, as a shadow in the night, Mar followed his mark, one street at time. With learned patience, Mar waited, not revealing himself to any. No one bothered to look above the houses, and even if they had they could only see shadow. His leather armor stained black as night, he was moving night. The King had sent him to Teirm to watch a nobleman suspected of aiding the Varden. 'If that little whelp is helping the Varden, he will pay dearly,' he thought to himself, stalking his target through the cold night. The man stopped numerous times, talking to merchants and blacksmiths. Mar took a mental picture of every person he stopped to talk to, everyone a possible accomplice. The man returned to his home behind the palace walls, thinking himself secure. Mar laughed to himself. 'You're not safe anywhere, my friend.'

Jeriah jumped from another nearby rooftop to stand in front of the man. She drew her sword. "Don't be so sure," she told him, "He has friends everywhere." OOC: that better, Taran?

OOC: Elyria is always flying overhead. lol
Elyria and Domia patrolled in the night sky. "I know he is somewhere in the city Domia. My sources have never been wrong. Keep your eyes sharp and your guard up."

Mar smiled as a woman jumped to stand in front of him, sword drawn. He quickly pulled one of his own, holding it backwards in his grip. "Now, who do I have the pleasure of meeting?" he asked the woman, keeping his cloak around him and his body ready for action. "I know many people in this city, and I must say I have never seen your face before." He looked her up and down, then glanced in the direction the man had walked. Sheathing his sword, he stood to his full height, palms up. "He seems to have evaded me for the time being, though I will surely find the information I seek. Have a wonderful night, Milady," he said, before seeming to fall from the roof.

Jeriah jumped into the darkness after him, but lost him there. "Darnit! I need to work on my tracking skills!" she said. She contacted Elyria. I found him on the rooftops, but he jumped away before I could react. See if you can find him. I'll go after Evrett and make sure he's safe. She shook her head. Only a coward would run from a fight, especially one which he might have had a chance of winning.

Mar quickly made his way through the city towards the docks. 'I have been compromised. Who could have told them where to find me? Unless....Narl. That lying, two-timing weasel!' he thought angrily. 'When I find him, he'll wish he had never met me!' Silent as a shadow, Mar ran through the night, passing people before they even realized he had been there. Within minutes, he reached the docks. Entering a small shack, Mar crawled down a ladder into a small room pilled with sacks of grain.

Elyria acknowledged Jeriah. "Domia. Lower. He got away. Let's see if we can pick him up with dragonsight shall we." Domia glided lower almost touching the roof tops as they searched.

Aethelwyne walked the dark alleyways of the city. "Where did he get to? No matter. I will find him." The highpriestess had given her a contract for a nobleman suspected of assisting the Varden. She would hunt tonight. Perhaps play tomorrow. She smiled at the thought. 'It's been a while since my blades have tasted blood.' She lightly stroked the silver bracelets that sheathed the blades.

Jeriah arrived at Evrett's house quickly. She apparently arrived before the nobleman did, so she broaded her awareness, trying to locate him in case there was trouble nearby. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rauthr flew over the dark city, his color nearly making him invisible to the human eye. Marola sat upon his back. She was searching for someone. She was told one of the Varden Riders was here protecting a traitor. She found herself hoping that it wasn't Nerasa, because her orders were to eliminate the Rider as quickly as possible.

Seana was in the blacksmith of teirm she had been working on another pair of daggers for her friend nerasa made with a blood red blade and blood red handle. She knew her friend would love these and that she would do anything to repay her, seana, for these daggers. Seana had taken a break from assassin work and her brother Gabriel was also working hard on making another sword for himself made the same color as the other one.
"Gabriel you already made one and you don't need antoher. Honestly do you absalutly need one?" said seana.
"No but I thought that it could come in handy and I am almost done with it I just have to personalise it and put my symbole on the blade." said Gabriel who then did just that.

Mar unsheathed his twin kodachis, setting them beside himself atop the bags of grain. He leaned his head against the wall, replaying the events of the night's chase in his mind.

Aethelwyne in the guise of Mica, dark hair and blue eyes, made her way to the docks. She was looking for an informant of her own. Slowly, in the shadows she crept.

Elyria made way with Domia to meet at Everetts house. They needed to formulate a plan to get the man out of harms way.

Taran finished going through the night in his mind, then decided to risk leaving the hide. Changing into normal clothes, though he took his two swords with him, he climbed up the ladder. He hid the swords beneath a light brown robe his wore, making sure they would still be ready if the time called for violence.

Mica stepped onto the docks in her flowing blue gown. It shimmered and matched the color of her eyes. 'Okay Doc here we go again.' 'Be careful'
The silver on her bracelets reflected the light of the moon as she walked softly in the night. All the while watching and waiting. Looking discretely for the informant that would give her the Varden's plan.

Mar always regretted having to give bad news to those who sought him, mostly for fear of the consequences. He may be the most experienced informant and infiltrator, skilled at deception and trickery, but he was not always a match for those he met, though he was far better at the sword than even a hardened soldier. Pulling his hood to cover most of his face, and the cloak to hide his features, Mar walked into the night, his swords easily within reach.

Mica saw the man walking toward her. His hood drawn over his face. He wasn't the right build for her informant, but he did have a familiar air about him. He moved like an assassin. 'Could they have doubled the contract on Everett? Was he that important?' She walked on sizing the man up discretely.
