Mercenary

Her cheeks reddened as the warmth increased within her. His touch was magic upon her skin and drove her to the edge. She did not know how she could possibly survive if driven any closer to it.

Mar popped his head out from under the blankets, his cheeks red. He kissed her, his hands slower in following his head.

Her breath came to her in short bursts. As they kissed, the moon rose high into the night sky. She lay with him wrapped within his embrace. "I have missed you!" she told him as she finally surrendered to her fatigue. Sleep took her still in her bliss.

Mar let himself drift off to sleep, still holding Elyria tight to him, his arms still around her bare form.

He woke early, the sun just coming over the horizon. He did not stir, only looked down at Elyria still in his arms. A smile crept to his lips as he looked at her, pure joy filling him.

Elyria felt his gaze upon her. She stirred slowly, wrapped in his embrace. "I could wake up in your arms for the rest of my days." She smiled lovingly at him, running her hands slowly over his form.

Mar smiled, kissing her cheek softly.
"And I in yours, Elyria," he said, rubbing her back with his hands. "Did you sleep well? I assume you were warm enough? I was comfortable...and warm." He grinned, remembering the night before.

[micaylah]

She let out her breath slowly. "I was a little...overly warm." she laughed softly quickly adding, "but I feel a little chilled now." She eyed him closely, pulling further into his embrace.

Mar grinned, fully wrapping himself around her soft form.
"Well, I think I may have to remedy that," he said, a twinkle in his eyes. "Could you by chance help me? I think I forgot." He laughed slightly, kissing her lips softly.

Caleb let sleep take him, he was the happiest he'd been in a long time. "Balvir, can you wake me up in a few hours so I can drug her again?" he asked. He felt Balvir's acknowledgement and drifted off.

Kalri slept peacefully within his embrace. As the sun rose she awakened after a few hours. She watched Caleb as he slept beside her. She felt happy and the smile crept over her as she thought about how perfect she felt with him.

Elyria kissed him softly smiling. "I would love to but alas my darling, I feel we should probably get cleaned up and see to your charge and my cousin."

Mar smiled, kissing her softly on the lips, stopping her from talking.
"If we must," he said sighing, but with a smile. "You never know how long we can be together."

Caleb woke in the middle of the night, and made sure she took the drugs. "There, now she'll be good for another few hours. He stirred slowly, "Morning Beautiful, sleep good?" he said

Elyria looked as she felt the depth of his words. She did not want to stop but they must. There were matters more pressing. "I know. I will do whatever I can to make the most of the time that we have." She looked away sadly as she started to get up.

Kalri smiled as Caleb spoke to her. "I slept magnificently! You?"

Mar stood, moving around the tree for his clothes.
"Where did you put my clothes?" he asked, looking at her.
