Well met, Werecat, Creel replied mentally. "Anyway, I've not really ever met with any of the other Riders," he told her,"I've seen some of them walking around, but I havent actually spoken to any of them. Not even Eragon Shadeslayer. So, it's a pleasure to finally speak to another Rider."....

"I ride Balvir, he's hunting right now though." Caleb said, making sure that Jeriah didn't forget about him being a Rider.

Jeriah laughed. "Oops. I guess I forgot to mention, Caleb's a Rider, too. Balvir is a blue dragon."

"A blue, huh?" Creel said with a grin,"Same as Saphira. A nice color for a dragon, but......it's not quite as......brilliant as Ciraph's white."....

"I'm happy with Balvir's color thank you." Caleb said, mildly offended. A Rider should never down another for color of a dragon.

"I'm sure you are, Caleb," Creel replied,"I was merely refering to the blinding reflection Ciraph's scales have when hit by the sun. I know for a fact that it is unusually strong, and have even been blinded by it myself several times. I apologize for any offense or misunderstanding you may have taken to my comment. Besides, a dragon's color really won't have any bearing on how they perform in a fight. It all comes down to skill and cooperation between Rider and dragon.".....

Weary from his recent mission Hiendall had every intention to get something to eat. Crym had just went hunting and he hoped she wouldn't bring back some meat to tease him. As he was moving he noticed a group of people talking that he didn't know. He wished he had removed his chest plate at least since most meetings like this normally ended in bad feelings.

Jeriah looked between the two guys as they talked about their dragons. She noticed another man she didn't recognize nearby and smiled at him. She looked around, a little embarrassed as she noticed she was surrounded by men. Her heart suddenly ached for Lathem--to feel his gentle touch, hear his soft words. I only hope I can find him... she thought.

A smile from this stranger put hope in his heart and he forgot about how different he was and walked up to the group and said,"Hey."

Tomas looked to his right and saw three dragons on the ground. "Zephyr, to our right." "What about them?" "Let's see if they know this mercenary." "Umm, Tomas, they are probably Varden riders, why would they tell you anything?" "Good point. But, fly over them anyway, we can have some fun." Zephyr sighed and changed his course.

Jeriah kept her smile as the elf walking up to them. She had to force it and keep from dwelling to much on her wayward boyfriend. Jahag rubbed himself against her leg, sensing her discomfort. "Hey," she said, "Looks like we're all meeting a bunch on new people now. I'm Jeriah, Rider of Oranthor, and this is Jahag." At the last, she indicated the white werecat leaning against her.

"I am Hiendall rider of Crym or as the Empire now calls me the Red Eyed Demon." I am gratified to meet such a fair lady and her unusually quiet friends."
