Jeriah sat in her room, carefully working on the newest magic she was trying to master. She didn't need to be at the moment, but it kept her mind off of other things. Like Lathem. And the fact that she had not heard from her family in a long time. And the other depressing things that came to mind when she had nothing to do. Finally, she stopped before she exhausted herself and decided to go for a walk. OOC: okay, this is a thread requested by sumdood, so he could get started. But anyone can join, of course. lol!

Caleb was in the woods and heard the door shut. "Hey Jeriah! What's wrong?" he asked, running up to his friend, noticing that something was clearly bothering her

Jeriah smiled tiredly as she looked at Caleb. "Nothing. I was just doing some magic, is all. I decided to go for a walk." She knew Caleb knew something was bothering her, but she didn't feel like saying what was wrong. "You want to walk with me?"

ooc: thx, Jeriah. short ic before I leave to take care of soem things. XD
Creel leapt out of Ciraph's saddle as they wheeled through the air, muttering "Brisingr Sverd" as he began falling. His stolen white Riders' sword, Garjzla, turned to fire along the blade, and then he muttered "Brisingr", elongating it into a flame whip-sword. Then, he began slashing at imaginary opponents, spinning and tumbling through the air as he plummeted toward the earth.
When he was just a short way from death, however, he muttered "Brisingr" once again, and Garjzla reverted to its normal state, the energy he'd used to make it's transformation apparent to him, and Ciraph swooped underneath him, catching him right int he saddle.
That was a good workout he said to Ciraph, mentally laughing.
That it was, my friend. Ciraph replied, laughing as well,You seem to really enjoy doing that kind of stuff, don't you?
That I do. Now, land over there, if you don't mind.
Okay, Ciraph said, gliding over to the spot Creel had indicated. As Ciraph landed, his exceptionally large wings kicking up a whirlwind of dust and wind that shook all the tents in the area....
ooc: I think you guys can get the cue. XD

Jeriah felt some strong gusts of wind shake nearby and guessed that a dragon was landing. Curious about who it was, she redirected her and Caleb's course to see. Oranthor flew overhead and told her it was a white dragon.

"Who's that Balvir?" Caleb asked his dragon. "I don't know Caleb, it's a white dragon though." he replied. "Jeriah, it could be an Empire Rider, ready?" he asked.

She gave Caleb a glance, smiling. "Now why would an Empire Rider be so deep in enemy territory? Even if he is, we could at least talk to him. Let's try to find out who he is before engaging in hostilities, okay?"

"I can talk, but if your ready for action, it seems more intimidating." he said

As Ciraph landed and the wind from his wings died down, Creel leapt nimbly from his back and landed on the ground soundlessly.
That was a nice workout, he said to Ciraph.
Yes[i/], the dragon replied, sounding quite pleased with himself,We should to that one more often.
Creel laughed and patted Ciraph on his side.
"Will do, buddy," he said, moving off,"I'm gonna go eat. Why don't you go hunting or something?"
Without another word, Ciraph lifted off, the pangs of his hunger evident to Creel, who let out another small chuckle.
Then, with a small sigh, he began heading in the direction of the mess hall when he nearly ran into two others coming around the corner of a tent.
"Oh!" he said, stopping short and giving them a small wave with his right hand, the one with the Gedwey Ignasia on it,"Sorry about that. I need to be more careful where I'm going."....

Hunched down in Eridor's thin travel saddle, Elaine glanced over the dragon's large gray shoulder, looking down upon Abernon castle. Near the outskirts, of the stony castle resided tents set up by the varden, and landing among those tents was a massive white dragon who shone as brilliantly as the sun. Ah, I believe that must be the dragon I've heard called White Sun. she told Eridor in a conversational tone. The gray dragon bent his dark wings, turning lightly to keep the white dragon in site. Aye, and his rider, the elf Creel. A thought struck Elaine, and she frowned. You know, for the time we've been at the castle together, I don't think we've actually met them. An indifferent attitude floated across the bond, and Elaine smacked one of Eridor's stormy gray shoulder scales. Don't you want to meet new people? New dragons? Don't you want to have other friends. Again, indifference drifted across the bond. I wouldn't mind, but my main concern is keeping you, and the varden, safe. Rolling her eyes, Elaine sighed. You know I care about that too. But there is no danger, currently, so why not go say hi? A soft growl echoed from Eridor's throat. Because, currently, we are the only ones patrolling the sky. We need to continue our vigil so that if a threat does arise, we can warn Nasuada and be ready for it. Grimacing, dissapointed that Eridor would not give in and land, Elaine glanced dismally across the countryside surrounding Abernon. After only a minute or two of this gloomy mood, she began to brighten, and a smile eventually broke across her lips. You know, Eridor, I'm content just flying with you, keeping watch. Even though you can be painfully duty bound, I wouldn't have it any other way. A deep, vibrating hum started up in Eridor's large chest. OOC: Kind of a random post, but I haven't used Elaine and Eridor in a while, so just wanted to put something in.

OOC: s'okay, Trinn. The more, the merrier! Jeriah smiled and the elf who appeared around the corner, noticing his Gedwey Ignasia as he lifted his hand. "It's all right. I guess I should learn not to sneak up around behind tents." She laughed a little. Laughter was coming a little more easily every day. Still, she had a hard time doing it, because it made her think of the many times she laughed with Lathem. She made an effort to stop thinking about him and focus on meeting this guy. "So are you the Rider of that white dragon we saw?" she asked.

Josh grinned at the girl. "Of course I am," he said, grinning and drawing Garjzla,"I'm Creel, also known as Firesword. And the white dragon you just saw flying off is Ciraph, also known as White Sun." "So, who exactly are you?" he asked, looking from one to the other....

"I'm Jeriah," she said, smiling, "I ride on Oranthor, the orange dragon you see in the sky there. And this is Caleb. I am very glad to meet you, Creel."

"Oh, really?" he said, looking up to where an orange dragon was flying up high in the sky,"Well, now, isn't that a coinkidink, huh? Two of the Varden's new Riders meeting up like this?"

"Yeah," Jeriah replied. From behind her Jahag suddenly appeared in his cat form. He rubbed against her leg, then looked up at Creel. Well met, Firesword, the werecat said.
