You are forgiven, Tento. Lenora told the she-elf and gazed over at Aiden. Aiden struggled painfully to get out of the hole that he was stuck in. He glanced up at Tento, thankful that Lenora intervened. He didn't think he could have handled Tento in her full rage. "Yeah...I'll try tonight...umm...sorry about hurting you...I forgot to dull my blade..." Aiden replied as he hissed from his ribs. He was utterly stuck in the hole. You are hopeless. Lenora replied tenderly. She turned to Tento. Do you mind helping my Rider out of his predicament? I'm fine, Lenora...I don't wanna bother her. Rubbish. Put down your pride and let her help. I can't do much in my position and you're too tired to use magic. Let her help.

Ten lowered her head at the dragon's forgiveness, glad that she had not incurred her wrath. "Thank you, Brisingrskular," she said. The name, meaning Firescales, seemed appropriate for the red Lenora. She turned and watched as Aiden tried to struggle out of the hole. She moved to help him even as Lenora requested her assistance. She reached down and grabbed his hand to pull him up, and she noticed how he seemed to be in pain. She recalled the punch she had given him, and knew she must have broken some ribs. "All is fair, I suppose, Shur'tugal," she replied to his apology. "I maimed you as well. I believe I was more angry at myself at letting a human leave his mark on me." Even admitting it caused some frustration to be reflected on her face. She would have been so humiliated were any other elves watching. "I sometimes don't remember how to control my temper," she told him. She pulled off her gloves and her face gained a bit more of a demanding look. "Lift up your tunic," she commanded.

"Yeah, well, you're sorry, I'm sorry, so now we are both sorry." He joked, grateful that she was helping him. He let out a sigh of relief when he was freed from his temporary hole. He glanced over at Tento. "Yeah...I think you and I have the same temper..." He related to her as he rubbed his side in pain. He froze when she demanded him to lift up his tunic. "Excuse me?" He looked at her as if unsure that she had demanded what she had. "What did you say?" He asked her, but subconsciously placed a hand over his shirt in a protective, if embarrassed gesture.

Ten gave a frustrated sigh when Aiden balked at her command. Did he want to walk around with his ribs going in to puncture his lungs and damage his organs? How stupid could a man be? "You heard me," she said, crossing her arms impatiently. "Lift up your tunic. Or do I have to go over there and rip it off you?"

Aiden's eyes widened even more. "I...I...I don't even know you very well!!" Aiden exclaimed feeling heat rise up to his cheeks as he misunderstood Tento's actions and words. "You're very beautiful, Tento, but, I...I, I'm not really experienced in that...and...and...I don't even know if I like you that way...." He continued to place a firm hand on his tunic, not intending for the she-elf to rip it off him. He continued to stare at her in wonder. Were all elves like this?! Honestly, he had no idea what to think or say, much less know what had brought the elf to act in such a blunt and bawdy manner.
Lenora just gawked as Aiden's thoughts traveled to her own. She wasn't quite sure that was what Tento had in mind at all. However, the elf was unusually controlled by her emotions. She was just as shocked at the implications her words had brought. Now she wondered if she should grab her Rider and fly off before the elf pouced him. This was indeed wild and random behaviour, especially for an elf.
OOC: LOL!!!!!

Tento stared at Aiden incredulously as he continued to protest. He started blabbering on about not knowing her or liking her in a certain way as his face started turning scarlet. She started walking towards him, almost ready to beat him unconscious if that was what it would take to restore him to sanity long enough for her to heal him. "What are you talking about?" she asked him. "Look, if I don't heal you, you're going to end up getting stabbed in the heart by your own rib. Do you want that to happen? Didn't think so. Although I have to admit, it would be quite funny to see."

"What?" Aiden blinked at Tento, his eyes suspicious, as he too focused on her actions to really register her insult to him. "You...you...just want to...heal me?" He eyed her, wondering if this was some sort of elf trick or how they tried to lure men. He had heard stories that elves were fetching and mystical! Maybe these were one of their ways! Don't be an idiot, Aiden! Lenora's voice scolded her Rider. She wants to heal your ribs. Let her. "Oh." Aiden blinked in clarity as he voiced his sound mentally and physcially to Lenora and Tento. "Oh..." He muttered again, feeling suddenly stupid. He slowly lessened his hold on his shirt. "Um...okay..." He winced as he slowly lifted his shirt, but not before giving another suspicious look at Tento, as if unsure if that was all her intentions were focused on.

Tento rolled her eyes as Aiden finally seemed to understand what she was asking him to do. "Yes, stupid. I'm going to heal you. Your ribs, anyway. Your head might be a bit harder to fix. It seems whatever is giving you intelligence seems to be shut off at the moment." She took a few quick steps toward him as he finally began to lift his tunic, and she sped the process up a bit, holding the shirt up with one hand as she touched his injured side with the other. Several ribs were badly damaged, either broken or cracked, but it was nothing she couldn't handle. "Waise heill," she commanded, and a few seconds later his side was whole again. She let go of his shirt and backed away. "There, was that so difficult, stupid?" she asked. "Now you should probably get something to eat. That's what I'm about to do. It's going to rain tonight." She added the last as she looked up at the perfectly cloudless sky, having in that one instant made judgements on the weather patterns she had observed her entire life and knowing exactly what was going to happen.

If it wasn't for Lenora's command and advice to keep his mouth shut, Aiden would have liked to rail out a nice stream of insults at Tento for calling him stupid. He settled to grumbling some curses as she came over and began to heal him. His lip twitched as he felt his ribs go back into place, forcing himself not to make a sound; he didn't want to have to endure more insults from Tento as she called him stupid and weak. No. He would not give her that pleasure. "No..." He muttered to her question of healing him being difficult as he began bending his back, testing out his newly healed ribs. "Thanks." He glanced up at the sky as she commented about it raining soon. His back cracked and he let out a satisfied sigh. "That feels better." He glanced back again at Tento. "I am a bit hungry..." His voice trailed, his body felt famished, but he was also exhausted. He never really knew which desire to satisfy first some times.
Better to eat and then rest, Aiden. You used a lot of magic tonight. The Red dragon instructed her rider. Do you want to ride back? She added. Nah. Its not too far. You can go ahead. Okay. Don't linger too long; I'll bring you back with my teeth if you are. Aiden smiled at Lenora's threat. I'll see ya soon, then. Lenora snorted, satisfied with that promise and gracefully took flight. Aiden turned back to Tento, not sure to insult her or thank her for tonight. He raised an eyebrow, deciding to be indifferent. "Well, try not to get, uh wet then. I'm gonna go grab some food." He told her, making way back to the camp, slower than normal as he was rather exhausted from everything.

Tento walked beside Aiden toward the Varden, bypassing the number of trees she had destroyed from her earlier anger with him. She noticed how slowly he was walking, noting with some satisfaction that it must have taken quite a bit of energy from him to break her wire. As it should be. The thing was stronger that steel. "I enjoy the rain, though," she told him as they walked along. It had been a while, and she would love to stand out in it as the water fell from the sky. The drops splashing on her skin was the most glorious feeling in the world. She glanced sideways at Aiden as they walked. She decided at that moment that she could be friends with him. "Call me Ten," she told him.

"Yeah, well, I like being dry." He replied tiredly. He was now regretting on refusing Lenora's offer of flying him back. He glanced over at Tento, a surprised look on his face. "Yeah, okay. Ten. I can do that." He turned his gaze back to the path, wondering if that meant they were considered friends. They walked for a bit longer and made it to the mess hall before Aiden collasped to the ground. Exhausted and hungry, Aiden began gourging on his food before he even sat down. "I am so hungry!" He told Ten as he found a table for them to sit.

Tento became a bit worried as they walked that she would end up having to carry Aiden to the camp. He seemed to be dragging along, and she wondered where all of his earlier energy had gone. In the mess tent, she gathered a high pile of fruits and an even larger one of vegetables, more hungry than she would have admitted. Destroying all those trees and then sparring had taken a bit out of her. Her eyes turned to a table that held sweet things, and she couldn't stop herself from getting one of everything from there, which made her dessert plate the biggest one of all. Then she joined Aiden, who was busy shovelling his food into his face. "Do you always eat as if you are an uncivilize cretin, or is this because you are also about to pass out from exhaustion?" she asked him as she began to eat the large salad that had accumulated on one plate.

Aiden froze as Tento insulted him...again. Was this how it was going to be all the time? "Do you always eat like a rabbit?" He retorted as he wiped his face. "And I said I was hungry!" He huffed out, and returned to eating, with less vigor and more manners this time.

Ten's expression was unfazed as she munched away on her meal, quite enjoying the taste. "I find the idea of taking a life to sustain myself repugnant," she told him. "Plants can be regrown, and new ones planted from the seeds. But a life lost cannot be replaced." She looked at the contents of his plate with curiousity. She'd never actually had a long, casual conversation with a human before. "I am curious. Why do humans feel the need to do this?"

Aiden looked up from his food, confused at Ten's question. "Need to what? Eat?" He gave her an odd quizzical look. "We need energy like everything else; we need to survive. Its how it is." He shrugged the topic off, engaging his food once more. He had never really thought about his food having life, since whenever he got it, it was already made, ready to eat. Plus, during his small time as a slave, he survived on scrapping for food. He didn't have the time to think about whether or not the food had feelings or intelligence. To him, everything was used to help him survive. To help him seek his revenge on those that killed his family.
Despite all these thoughts that ran through his mind, Aiden had grown accustomed to hiding his true emotions behind his stubborn, loud, and blunt behaviour. What was the point in making friends if you didn't know if they would survive this crused war? Better to keep to yourself, then hurt more. Aiden's current philosophy had notoriously deemed him as the hot-headed loner, if not for Lenora, Aiden didn't know who to consider a true friend.
