Tento shook her head as Aiden misunderstood her question, having apparently not been listening to her at all. "No, why do you feel the need to take a life in order to sustain your own?" she asked him. She shook her head again and turned back to her meal, diving into the fruit. "You know what? Forget it. You've probably never even thought of it before. Humans are all the same; bent on violence and causing destruction." There was a bitter note to her voice. Truthfully, she didn't despise humans as much as she tended to let on. She just missed being around more of her own kind. She could identify with the elves and understood their reasonings. The human mind was inconceivable to her, a mystery she never cared to unravel. She never understood them, nor did she care to.

"Hey now what a minute!" Aiden darted up from his bowl. "Just cause we eat animals and such doesn't mean we all have the mindset of killing and destroying things!" Aiden defended his race. "I know I haven't really thought about what I eat before but that doesn't mean I destroy whatever I see." He huffed out. "Don't go making assumptions that you don't know about or care too. That's the same as if I just assumed that all elves were tree hugging people that only care about singing and dancing all day!" He slammed his bowl down and got up. "You have no idea what we go through everyday; you have no idea how many people just wish there wasn't destruction! We've suffered a lot here and just like you, we want peace too!" He replied to her angrily. "I'm heading off!" He thundered out and began marching off to his tent, feeling irritated at Ten for not understanding anything about humans, or about himself. She had no idea what he'd been through!

Ten glared furiously at Aiden's temper, feeling her own rising. In her fury as he stood to leave, she slammed her fist into the table. She hadn't meant to destroy it, but once again she underestimated her own strength and it splintered to pieces, sending wood and food all over the place. "It was you humans who started this war!" she yelled at Aiden, following him a short way. "All our races are suffering because your people are weak and have no discipline! And now dragons, elves, and humans are on the verge of extinction because of it!" Angrily, to get make sure he got her point, she threw a star in his direction. She purposely missed, and the pointed object drilled into the pole in front of his tent. Then she turned and stalked away, fuming. After she reached her own tent, her anger melted away into sorrow and loneliness. All she wanted was to go home, to be with her friends and family, people who knew her and people who cared about her. She felt so isolated among the Varden, and she desired Islanzadi to contact her so she would rejoin her army. She threw off her boots and curled around on her cot, tears falling as her feelings of total loneliness shrouded her heart.

OOC: Yeah! Feel free to join this thread or any thread!
Aiden halted in midstride, his anger building with each insulting word that spewed out of that elf's lips! His anger overflowed when Tento's star zipped passed him and landed with a ring on the tent pole. His eyes burned with a fiery that seemed only to be brought upon by this unsufferable elf! Aiden!!! Don't! Lenora warned her Rider, but as always, the young Rider's emotions got the better of him. "Because of US!?" Aiden's voice boomed within their vacinity, causing soldiers and civilians to glance their way. "You dare to blame a race for one man's stupid choose!" He yelled out to her, not caring for the surprised and annoyed stares from those around him. "If you want to go there! You might as well say its was the elves fault for starting the Dragon Wars! You insufferable elf!" His powerful voice rang out into the cold night air. That is enough, Aiden! Lenora's voice boomed as she appeared beside his tent. The bystanders immediately dispersed, sensing danger. Aiden glared at Tento's retreating back, but cringed at Lenora's reprimanding voice. You intolerable fool!, she began, Why must you always allow your anger to control you! She started it! I DO NOT CARE! She growled out. You should have been the Rider and let it go! Now look at you! You not only angered her again, but have just insulted the elven race! Badly done, Aiden....badly done. Lenora's voice was softer and more tender with those two final words, causing guilt and shame to weld up in Aiden. He glanced over at the direction that Tento went. I'm sorry, Lenora. Aiden muttered to her in his mind. I am not the one you need to apologize to. Lenora said and then nuzzled Aiden gently. I love you, Aiden. You are my heart bond, but you must learn to control your temper. I know... He replied, downcasted. His then glanced up at his dragon. I need to apologize to her...again. I will be here when you get back. Was all the red dragon stated. Aiden gave her a nod and quickly rushed after Tento. However, he didn't know where she stayed, and after inquiry with some people, he managed to locate it. Hesitant, for Aiden knew not what to expect, he gently knocked on the tent pole, knowing that her elven ears would have probably picked up his footsteps already. He let out a soft exhale, preparing himself to speak with her, or to his despair, to ready himself against her mighty fists.

Ten started slightly when she heard the footsteps stop outside her tent and knock unexpectedly on her tent pole. Her face was still covered in tears, falling unhindered from her eyes. She was tempted to ignore whoever had come and hope they left her in peace. But perhaps it was something important. Her duty as a soldier would not allow her to remain as she was. She got up and opened the flap of her tent. She stared at Aiden for a moment or two. Humiliation crept into her, as her tears would be obvious to him. The sting of his words remained in her. Her face shifted into a scowl as she tried to hide the sorrow and loneliness she was feeling. "What do you want?" she asked. Despite herself, her voice cracked as she spoke.

Aiden gasped when Tento flipped her tent flap opened. His eyes widened when he spotted Tento's tears, causing his guilt to rise more. "I'm...I'm sorry." He gazed downward. "I shouldn't have said what I said...it was really mean. I...I told you I got a temper.." He absently scratched his arm, "...and well, I never really talked to anyone before...so I'm not really good at being sociable and friendly," He admitted to her, a slight blush on his cheeks. "...and...the topic we were discussing is kinda personal for me too...so I apologize if I overreacted a bit." He glanced up at her, "So, I understand if you wanna hit me; I deserve it." He squinted his eyes a bit, as if expecting her to hit him.

Gidion was in his tent when he heard the yelling of a man so he went out to explore "who is it that woke me from my sleep" basil asked his rider I do not no I am going to check when gidion got to the place where the yelling was coming from he saw a young man who's name he thought was aiden but he was not sure yelling at a female elf who's name he was not sure of but he over herd people saying her name was tento aiden was obviously mad and the elf maiden also looked mad then the fight of words ended and they both went their separate ways although the elf maiden through a star at the man but it hit his tent post probably on purpose gidion stood Waiting and thinking for awhile then finally he decided he was going to see what was going on so he asked around for the location of the elf maiden's tent when he finally found it he saw aiden knocking on the front post of the tent then tento opened the flaps it appeared she had been crying then a scowl furrowed her brow.
