"AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" A frustrated scream tore apart the night air as Tento punched a tree, causing it to collapse under her unusually powerful fist. She turned to another poor oak, swinging her arm hard at it.
"Stupid human! Does he really think he can talk to me like that?! Urgh! If he wasn't a member of the Varden, I would kill him!!!!" Three more trees fell victim to her temper as she continued to rant her frustration.

Go and apologize! Lenora scolded Aiden, who was looking rather angry as he leaned against his chair.
No! She started it! He replied to his dragon defiantly.
Honestly! You're mouth is going to lead you to your deathbed! Go and apologize!!!
FINE! Aiden yelled out, fed up with Lenora pestering him about apologizing to that elf.
Aiden had finally found Tento. His eyes were wide as he watched her pummel a tree in two. His hair whipped to the left as the tree flew passed his vision. He gulped. He didn't know she could do that. Nervous now, Aiden skirted over splinters toward Tento. "Hey, Tento." Aiden gave a short wave, trying to figure out a way to apologize without dying.

As her fist met another unfortunate trunk, Ten heard a familiar voice nearby. Her temper boiled over double-time when she caught sight of him.
"What are you doing here?" she asked him, crossing her arms as she glared. The crashing tree caused the ground to shake while she waited for an explanation.

Aiden gulped again, his eyes darting to the tree that she had just halved. "Uh. I wanted to apologize." He glanced up at her, his apology geniune. "I shouldn't have said those things. It was really rude and mean of me." He rubbed the back of his head. "I'm sorry.." He gave her an uncertain look, as he finished his apology. "I know I have a bad temper...and a loud mouth...as Lenora keeps reprimanding me for it....and it doesn't help that I hadn't slept in awhile...but, its not excuse for what I said...and I'm sorry..." He apologized again, a bit more fully.

Ten stared at the human as he attempted to apologize to her. He seemed to mostly just be babbling, but she got the idea. She looked him over when he mentioned that he hadn't slept in a while. He did look a bit tired. That certainly wasn't a good thing, especially for one of the Varden's Riders. He had to be alert for danger at all times. She was still rather infuriated with him, but she decided to forgive him this time.
"Well, if that's the case, apology accepted," she said. And instant later, she reach in the holster at her tight and threw several stars directly at him, testing to see how alert he really was. She hadn't had a sparring partner for a while, and since he had already infuriated her once today, Aiden would likely work well. Moments after the stars left her hand, she slammed her foot hard into the ground, causing a minor earthquake.

Aiden exhaled, glad that she accepted his apology. He then inhaled sharply as he spotted sharp pointy objects spinning at him! Aiden immediately pulled Istalri out, making the stars hit it with a clang as it flew off in a different trajectory. "HEY! WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FOR!" He yelled out just as he felt the tremors beneath him. "Heyyyyy!" Aiden wobbled and staggered, but managed to keep himself standing as a wave of earth flowed under him. He flipped in the air, avoiding another major wave that was sure to have rolled him to the ground. He landed, somersaulting behind the last tremor. He quickly rolled into a stance, his red rider sword at the ready. "What is wrong with you, woman!?" Aiden cried out, utterly confused. This elf was content with his apology one moment, and then desiring to kill him the next! Women were confusing!

Ten was satisfied with how quickly he reacted to her attack, as he had deflected her stars with relative ease. She pulled another few stars out, one of them tied with her spider-wire. She let them fly, keeping a hold on the wire so she could manipulate the trajectory of the star even if he blocked it. She noticed that he was yelling at her.
"Hmm?" she asked. "Oh, I'm sorry. I should have asked. Are you up for sparring? I haven't been able to practice my skills for a while."

Aiden held Istalri at the ready and was able to block the stars again, but something seemed off about one of them. He thought he saw something reflect for just a split second...he wasn't sure. He gawked next when Tento nonchalantly asked him to spar. "You kidding me?!" Crazy woman! His head screamed out to Lenora, who was merely musing at the whole scene. Accept it, I think it'll be a good challenge for you.
Whose side are you on? Aiden shouted back to Lenora, who sent a thoughtful, but amused emotion.
"Fine! But don't think I'll go easy on you!" He shouted back at her.

Ten tighted her grip on the wire and flicked her wrist, sending the star on a new path aiming back toward Aiden. She didn't move it to hit him, but rather made it to go behind him, and if all went well, it would wrap around him several times, effectively tying him up. To block off his main escape route, she sent her fist flying into a tree that was opposite the direction the star was coming from. It came crashing to the ground, and she smiled, wondering what the human was going to do next.
"Oh please," she told him when he mentioned not going easy on her, "On the day a human needs to go easy on me, I will resign from the Queen's army and spend my days singing dinnerware from trees."

Aiden seethed at Tento's remark! And she wondered why he had called her an annoying stuck up elf! He gritted his teeth, now, fully obliging her on her insane spar. However, he noticed her movements a bit too late as the star was coming back. Through Lenora's help, he spotted the thin wires that were meant to entangle him. Making a move to dogde to the right, he saw the annoying smile on her face as she blocked his path. BLASTED ELF! He sent his frustration to Lenora as he jumped up, flipping himself backwards to avoid the string, but it was a second too late. The wire had caught his left foot, causing him to get entangled. "Agh!" He grunted out as he slammed to the floor. But not stopping for a moment to nurse his pain, he channelled his magic and uttered the word "slash" to free his leg, and then quickly yelling out "Brisingr", sending a line of several fireballs at Tento as he staggered to make a close combat attack, his sword downward, intending to slice upward.

Ten smiled with grim satisfaction as her star wrapped around his ankle, tripping him. Aiden was quick to react, using magic to cut the wire. Although it was made by magic, Ten felt little reason to protect it from such. Considering that it took most of her considerable strength to break even a single thread, she was confidant that any use of magic would leave the caster very soon drained of energy. Aiden still seemed ready to go, though. Must be fueled by adrenaline or something.
She then focused on dodging his fireballs. At least he was competent in magic use. It had been a while since she had received a proper challenge. She missed being with the elven army and still wondered why Islanzadi had sent her to join the Varden. She was so intent on avoiding the fire that she allowed Adien to get up close to her with his drawn sword. She recalled that neither of them had had time to blunt their weapons, so evading the sharpened blade was vital as well. Thankfully, the human was still quite slow, and she sidestepped, at the same time aiming a punch to his side.

Aiden's breath caught, having been punched by Tento. She was far quicker than he was, even with Lenora's gifts of improvement, such as speed and strength. With widened eyes, Aiden had a sudden image of Tento destroying those trees earlier. He was going to die! He was sure of it.
Don't be so dramatic! Lenora's voice rang in, as she continued to lend Aiden strength. Aiden toppled backwards, the force of Tento's punch making him skid across the ground. He was already excessively tired from using magic on that weird wire, which he didn't know why, and when he flew across the dirt, it took him a moment longer to stagger up. She had quite a punch. He hissed, feeling a broken rib from the impact of her punch. Stupid woman! He gritted his teeth, still determined to fight her. He would not be beaten by a snotty noise she-elf! He attempted to run at her, his sword barely able holding its attack position as he aimed for her again.
OOC: I didn't notice that my comp edited the word "punch" to "bunch". lol that was weird.

Ten watched with a satisfied expression as Aiden went sprawling to the ground. She had barely tapped him, really, but she knew he had to have at least one broken rib. After that, there was no way he would want or be able to continue their spar, so she turned with a smile and began to walk away.
She was caught by surprise, then, when he charged at her again, and she wasn't fast enough to completely evade his wildly swinging blade. Her right forearm was sliced through with a deep gash. She glared at the human with her eyes practically on fire with fury.
"You did not just do that," she said. Her anger was more toward herself for allowing a human to mark her when she should have easily been able to dodge. With a loud yell, she drove her fist hard into the ground, causing massive trembling before ran to him, reaching out determined to snap his sword arm off just by twisting it.

Aiden grinned when his sword managed to cut her, but then he realized that he had cut her. I forgot to dull my blade! His eyes wide from surprise...and soon fear as Tento glared at him in pure anger. "Uh oh." He muttered when she slammed a fist into the ground, causing a massive tremor as the ground beneath him broke apart, making him fall into the forming crater. He soon realized that his foot was stuck.
As Tento came rushing at him, a loud deafening roar interrupted into the air. Lenora, not caring for ruining the area, slammed herself in between Aiden and Tento. Enough! Lenora's voice thundered to the two individuals. Her piercing red eyes focused on Tento as she protected her Rider. She had a feeling that Tento would not forgive Aiden for marking her in battle, and since they were allies, Lenora felt to intervene before more damage could be done. The spar is over she-elf!

Ten was startled out of her blind fury when the dragon dropped from the sky in between her and her target. She halted her charge and listened to what Lenora had to say. She realized just how close she had been to permenantly maiming the Rider. She felt a small bit of shame, knowing that the Riders were needed to survive the battle against Galbatorx.
"Of course," she said, touching her fingers to her lips as a show of honesty. "My apologies, Skulblaka. I should have been more rational." She then placed her had against her injured arm and healed it faster than a heartbeat. She turned to Aiden and watched him for a moment.
"You really should sleep," she told him. She was sure he would have done a little better against her were he in better condition.
