Jeriah sobbed against his shoulder, throwing her arms around him. The memory of her dream was still pressing upon her. It frightened her, not just because on its morbid nature, but because she had the deep sense that it would come true. She gave Lathem a long kiss, trying to display all her feelings for him in this single display of affection.
"I love you, Lathem...so very, very much," she said, leaning against him.

Lathem held her tight against him and kissed her hair. "It's alright, love. Everything will be alright." He brought her over to a bench and sat her down. "But you need to tell me what is wrong. Then maybe I can help you." He smiled gently and touched her cheek.

Jeriah shook her head, the memory of the dream still fully in her mind.
"I'm not sure what it was, Lathem. I was in pain...I think I died. I couldn't see much, just a ceiling. I heard someone talking to me. The last thing I remember about it, I was saying, 'I love you, Lathem.'" She leaned agains his shoulder, comforted by him. She took his hand and held it tightly.

A pang of sorrow slashed through his heart. His voice was raspy as tears began to come. "You think...you think you might have been paying my price?"

Jeriah shook her head woefully.
"I don't know, Lathem...I don't know what it was about." She leaned her head against his shoulder and wrapped both arms around him.
"I wish Oranthor was here," she said.

He sighed, relieved. "We should go to them. To let them know we are alright." He smiled at her. "I'm sick of hanging around this place. Though it is with you, it is sort of boring here..." He poked he and then jumped up, running from the bench laughing.

"Hey!" Jeriah said, and got up to chase him. Laughing, she said, "Letta!" stopping him. She pounced on him and began to tickle him. In the midst of their laughter, they hear a voice.
"What's going on here," Ganer asked.

Lathem looked up from underneath Jeriah and laughed. "Wow, Ganer. It's about time you woke up." Ganer rushed forward, then stopped suddenly, a flush of red appearing on his cheeks. "I don't want to interrupt though..."

Lathem gently got up, Jeriah still on his chest, and looked over at Ganer. "Sorry, man. Girls are way more important." He laughed, quickly adding, "Just kidding." Ganer laughed, but still didn't move. Lathem gently pushed Jeriah off of him and laughed. "Oops." He pulled her up with him and walked over to Ganer, but still held Jeriah's hand. He pulled her over and gently let go, just long enough to give Ganer a hug. "Jeriah, this is my best friend, Ganer, and Ganer," He winked at Jeriah. "This is my fiancee, Jeriah."
OCC: And btw, you can god-mod Ganer since he's not really one of my characters.

I wish he would tell him, she thought. She smiled at Lathem.
"We kinda met a couple of days ago, but I'm glad you introduced us properly," she laughed.
