Aethelwyne looked at Taran. Watching him as he looked out to over the rising sun. Following his gaze she saw the dot and then in an amazing flash of light, Adurthil as he appeared from the light of the morning. In awe, Aethelwyne looked to Taran, a smile wide upon her face. "Adurthil! You are beautiful!"

Adurthil landed near Taran, his massive bulk shaking the ground. Taran walked over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. The rough, teal colored scales seemed to move under his hand, one massive shield of protection. Taran hugged Adurthil's leg, joy clearly written on his face. Adurthil stood on his back legs, rising up towards the glowing sky, spread his wings, and let out a roar filled with fire and ice. Taran stepped back amazed. "How do you have ice?" he asked. Adurthil came back to down with a thud to stare directly into Taran's eyes. 'I am a master of water, Taran, in all its forms,' Adurthil told him. They all walked back to the Sanctuary, Taran holding his dying sister in his hands. He watched her breathe heavily, struggling for breath. "I love you, sister," he told her. She wiped the tears from his eyes as she fell against him. "And I you, brother. I will always be with you, this I swear!" she said in the ancient language, then she closed her eyes and was no more. Taran cried out to the morning sky, tears falling from his eyes as he laid his sister down on the ground. He piled rocks around her to make a grave, then used magic to seal the tomb, so that nothing would harm her body. 'Rest in peace, my faithful sister,' he thought as he continued down the mountain with Aethelwyne and Adurhtil.

Aethelwyne walked back down to Sanctuary with Taran. Silent. Tears quielty streaking her cheeks for his loss. She placed her hand upon his back as they walked. His love for Reka had never waivered. Through their bond she sent her love, hoping somehow to ease some of his pain.

Taran felt Aethelwyne comforting him with her love, and he welcomed it. Pulling her tighter to him, he kissed her. "Thank you," was all he said as they entered the Sanctuary to a most peculiar sight. There, before them, Elianora and Salian were lost in each others arms, kissing. Taran stifled a laugh, then looked at Aethelwyne, giving her another kiss.

Aethelwyne laughed softly, her hand gently over her mouth. She dropped it to her side as she turned to return Taran's kiss. Leading him back out to the landing, she sat on a stone. Still smiling. "I told you there was something about the desert air!" She grinned.

Taran followed Aethelwyne outside, laughing a smiling. "I don't know about that, love," he said, a sarcastic tone in his voice. "Well, I would hate to break them up, so what should we do? Go for a ride?" He pointed at the large form of Adurthil standing near where Doc would appear from his bed.

Elianora finally pulled away, frowning at the door. She could have sworn that she heard Aethel and Taran enter and leave. Pulling away from Salian, she turned and stalked our the door. When she saw Aethe and Taran, she smiled. "Aethelwyne, my friend. Taran and I were looking for you. We were wondering if you wouldn't mind showing us where the food is," she said pleasantly.
Salian blinked in confusion when Elianora pulled away. What was wrong with him? I just kissed an elf! he thought, struggling to find coherent thought. And she, well, kind of kissed be back. He frowned. What was I doing? he wondered. Did I think that by kissing ELianora, Marian would magically appear?
Of course not, Torlyn soothed. A picture of him gouging out a deer made Salian's head clear.
Than what was I doing?

Aethelwyne nodded her head to Elianora. "Eli, my friend, it is good to see you...well." she said with a small smile playing upon her lips. The pantry is just off of the kitchen, feel free to make yourself at home. Taran and I were just going flying for a while then down to the lake below to talk and explore the power of this bond of ours. I fear if we do not figure out how to master it, we may face a peril even greater than that of yesterday." She didn't mention about the twins she carried, though she knew that Elianora, being powerful and able to see past and future, probably already knew of their existence within her.

Taran stood as Elianora walked from the home. "Morning," he said, a smile on his lips. "I trust your night was comfortable? Well, I'm afraid Aethelwyne is right. We have some..things to attend to. Adurthil? Would you mind waking Doc?"

Doc let out a might roar as he saw Adurthil entering into the keep. "Aethelwyne! I fear I will need a bigger room!" Doc came to the landing, looked at everyone and proceeded to unfurl his mighty wings and extend his neck as he stretched in the morning light. 'Did I hear someone mention a flight?' Aethelwyne looked at him then at Taran. "Shall we go love?"

Taran nodded, the smile still on his lips, then mounted Adurthil. "Let us go then, my love," he said as Adurthil lept into the air with a few strong flaps of his wings.

Aethelwyne followed atop Doc. Revelling in the feel of the wind in her hair and the sun on her skin. They flew through the mountains and over the lake. Doc gently dragged his talon over the water displacing it's surface into a long trail rippling out from the center.

Taran landed with Adurthil on the side of the lake. Jumping from Adurthil's shoulders, he walked to the edge of the water as Doc flew by. Picking up a pebble, he threw it across the water, skipping it across the waves as he waited for Aethelwyne to land.

Doc lowered himself near the ground as he glided. Just before he got to where Taran was, he tipped sharply back to his side dumping Aethelwyne into the lake. 'That's for bringing all these people into Sanctuary! What were you thinking!' Doc was upset. 'I'll be back later!' Aethelwyne stood up watching as Doc flew off. He was angrier than she had seen him at her. Looking at Taran, she slowly waded to the shore. She had only a slightly amused look on her face. "He is angry." she told him.

Taran helped Aethelwyne from the lake. 'Adurthil, why don you go train in flight with Doc, I'm sure you could use the practice, no offense of course,' he told his dragon. "I think I could see that, love. But I have a question, why is it whenever we are around water, you get wet?" he asked, a sly smile on his face.
