Elessar watched as the Shade approched him when he opened his mouth to say something no words came out . As the Shade got closer it appeared Female. She crouched down and grabbed his chin."*Sigh*The "Great"Elessar, top swordsman of his class...Captured by mere...Humans who happened to have a grudge.Shame it is..." she said "You can speak now..." I have to do something to get out of here.. "What do you want with me and Argetgarm"He asked angrily. "Argetgarm is that...Beasts,name? I thought you could do better at naming things..." He felt a serge of energy though him. "Jierda!'He muttered breaking the chains that held him. He pulled a dagger out of his boot and jumped at the shade. "Letta!"She shouted. Elessar froze in the air. The shade took his dagger out of his hand and crushed it after muttering a few words in the ancient language he didn't hear. She released the spell and chained Elessar to the wall one more. "Don't make me kill you Elf.."she said"And I don't want to do that..." "And why not? If I had the chance you'd have a blade though your heart..." "Beacause Argetlam I-" She was interrupted by a shout "Korzuyi!" "Sorry I have to go..."(Feel free to join in and play as someone who would fit in for this)

Elessars tortures were worse than he could have imagined. They stabbed him, electrocuted him with magic, and even burned him. When they realized they couldn't break him even when they tried to break into his mind. They began tormenting Argetgarm. Each time the shade came in the tortures where worse. She broke into Argetgarms mind and ravaged around. Worse than that she stabbed him. Within Three weeks they had broken both of them. They we're forced to pledge their fealty to the Shade. Elessar felt terrible inside,he had been broken,he had become a slave to pain, and worst of all he may not ever escape. But he still had a hope. If he would pledged fealty he would added a few words to create loopholes he could get past. Even though he had sworn fealty Elessar and Argetgarms tortures were continued. His last hope was for the riders to find him and rescue him and Argetgarm.
But first....He had to find Rakr...

Katriana's eyes narrowed at the scrying mirror. She was unhappy with the report she received from this pathetic excuse for a Shade. Had she brought the Rider back to the desert, the Shade Rider would have dealt with obtaining the elf's fealty herself. "If you do not have his loyalty by the end of the week, I will be there personally. Do you understand?" she asked the weak Shade. "I am close, my lady," her minion replied. "I will deliver him straight to your fair hand." "I look forward to it," Katriana severed the connection with the scrying mirror, then stood and paced. She needed more Riders for her war against Nasuada. The attack on Surda had been a fair victory, but not nearly as successful as she had desired. However, fewer and fewer Riders seemed willing to join her cause. I don't trust that bat can obtain his complete loyalty, she told Vanilor and Lycus. Once I see him, I will set some spirits to watch him, and make sure he never betrays me. ~~~~~ Blake crouched in the shadows, watching as the Shade spoke to the mirror. It seemed the perfect opportunity. Do it, a voice in her head cried. Destroy the creature... She gently reached back for Gambol Shroud. With the right burst of speed, she could easily take it by surprise and pierce its heart. That's not what I'm here for, she told herself, slinking back into the shadows, trying to shake the vicious voices out of her head. They were getting harder to ignore. She found her way to the armory, cutting the lock with her blade and entering. She gazed around for a moment or two. "Where is it?" she muttered. Most of the weapons were in a sad state, covered in blood and rust. Nothing that seemed of elven make, until she moved a few aside. Then she found it; the silver blade that seemed to gleam in the darkened room. "There you are," she said, picking it up. Now, if she could just find the elf and his dragon, she could get them out of here and get paid. She hoped the price was worth this risk. She exited the room and began to search the place for the elf.

Since that conversation Elessars tortures lasted shorter but they were much worse. They broke into his mind and made an illusion of his worst nightmares became reality. He watched the entire dragon rider order fall before him and Argetgarm being killed by a shade. He had lost all hope after they started the illusions. When they had tortured Argetgarm they cut deeper into him. Elessars pride had been broken and he uncontrollably began to beg them to stop. The torturers simply laughed at his suffering. Elessar began dwelling in his own sadness and hatred. When the shade came in she mistreated the both of them severely Elessar continued to beg for her to stop. When he did she simply said "I wish I could..." Though his mind had been broken, his pride was gone, and he was rapidly loosing strength, Elessar still managed to hold in hoping he would have another hope of escape. All he had to do was get something to kill the Shade and the torturers so he could get Rakr and escape.

Elessar had finally managed to regain sanity. He had some very interesting ideas. One was to find something very sharp and get the shade though the heart too complicated... ,gather his energy and cast a spell that would teleport him outside too much energy taken up and he would be forced to live without Argetgarm. He had finally came up with the perfect idea. He would attempt to get on the sweet side of the shade. She said something about him a few days ago. It then hit him. The Shade somewhat had a crush on Elessar. He could manipulate that to destroy her. He hated to ruin true love but it was the only way he could escape... The next few times the Shade came in he acted like he had still lot his sanity. He began complimenting the shade. Back to IC: The final time the shade came in this is how it went,"Hey,shade.I need to tell you something" he said "What is it...There isn't any point anways" "Come...Closer" As the shade approached he used the few bit of energy he could to break the locks. As soon as the Shade was close enough he swiftly moved forward and kissed the shade the longer they kissed the better timing he had. He reached back and grabbed her saber. He then jumped back and stabbed the shade though the heart. As the shade died Elessar snatched up the keys and opened the cell for him and Argetgarm he knew as long as he was in the building he was in danger. He had to get Rakr and escape fast.

Blake crouched in the shadows, finally following the Shade. The building was so complex that she was having a difficult time finding her target. She watched as the creature entered an obscure cell, knowing that she'd finally found it. Now she simply had to wait for her to come out again and she could finally get out of this dark, dank location. She waited for a few long moments until the door opened again. She tensed, ready to move once the Shade was out of sight. However, she was surprised by the appearance of an elf. Blinking in surprise, she stood, still in the darkness. "Are you Elessar?" she asked, one hand holding the silver elven sword and the other reaching back to her own weapon.

Elessar turned to Blake. "Yeah. And who exactly might you be?" he would ask as he lead Argetgarm out of his cell. "Well I see you found my sword. Before he could say anything else the pain of his torturing kicked in and he fell to his knees."Damned Shade..." he said angrily "I need to get back to the Dragon Riders...."

Blake took a step out of the shadows as Elessar confirmed who he was. She glanced away from him at his question, a sad smirk on her face. I'd like to know the answer to that question myself, she thought. She watched with cold concern as he fell to the ground, laying his sword down beside him. "I've been hired to make sure you get out of this place alive," she replied. Without a moment to think or comprehend what she was doing, her hand reached back to Gambol Shroud's hilt, and she took a leap back, slicing through guards who had been silently approaching. They fell to pieces without her ever even realizing that they'd been there. She stared at them for a moment. Was it just instinct that had saved her life just then? Or was it the insanity that she felt occasionally take control of her actions. You'd be dead without us, a voice hissed in her mind. Ignoring it, she stepped back to the elf. "Get up," she said, reaching down to help him. "We can get you healed later. For now we'd better get out of here before more guards show up to see what's going on."

Elessar didn't have to hear it twice he was tired of this place. Argetgarm had been quite silent lately. But he didn't have time to be concerned. He took Rakr and began making his way down the hall he heard a few footsteps. He then muttered "Skölir nosu fra du knífr" If Elessars ward worked the guards wouldn't be able to hurt him but the cost was a lot more energy than he expected. When the guards spotted him he sliced his weapon in the shape of a star killing one guard and severely injuring the other when he stabbed his blade he felt his energy drop. Elessar then took the blade to his side. He fell to his side. He felt nearly an army of energy pour into him. You may need it Sharp Ears He stood back up and pulled Rakr back up. He kicked the weapon out of the guards and and took off his head. "Shall we continue on?"

Blake turned when she saw more guards showing up. Elessar took care of a couple of them; for the rest, she unsheathed the smaller blade of her weapon from the larger and folded it downward, throwing it at her enemies. The ribbon slipped through her fingers until the right moment when she grasped it more tightly, causing the trigger of the crossbow section to be pulled and fire a deadly bolt at one man and rocketing toward another. With some guidance, Gambol Shroud found its every mark, and Blake then caught the handle again with precision. "I couldn't agree more," she said, running for the exit. "Your dragon is going to have to fly us off this rock," she commented once she was through the door. She glanced up at the sky. It was clear and dark, the moon hidden and the stars faintly twinkling. The sea air was pungent, and for a moment, she felt as if she was in another time, with a different man. Adam, they'll hear you... Let them. I'm tired of skulking about in the shadows. After those brief words, the voices in her mind shrieked with a vengeance, blotting out any more of the scene, the brief memory that had managed to surface. She fell to one knee, head in hands. The screams were giving hurting her head and blurring her vision. She gasped and panted until they were gone and she stood again. "Let's get out of here," she told the elf.

"This may be a bumpy ride..." he said hopping onto Argetgarm. Argetgarm began to flap his wings. "Before we go..." he said as he searched his packs. He was missing something."I need something..." He hopped off of Argetgarm and ran into the prison. He searched the loot pile in the armory. He was searching for another item he owned. It had enough energy in it to destroy Five cities and a village. He needed it if he was gonna make it back. Plus it was a gift from his Masters. He had been storing energy in it for years now. He expanded his mind around the room looking for something of power. He ran to the eastern side of the room and snatched up a bracelet. Without it he may as well give up on fighting nigh ANY of the Army of Shades. As he opened the door he heard a slow clapping behind him. "Congratulations... You managed to escape your cell. But this ends now." He turned around to see a single hooded man. "And what makes you think you can take me alone?" "That has a simple answer Argetlam." "And what might that answer be?" "Because I am the one...Who helped you become WHO you ARE." At that quote Elessar was concerned. He watched as the man slowly pulled down his hood. His eyes were yellow, his ears were sharp and pointy, and he had a scar on his left cheek "F-father..." "Exactly Elessar" "But why?!" "Because...The day I found you I knew there was something about you. I had been training you just so you could be of some use. When the Shade Army first made their appearance I knew what kind of tool I would have to shape you into...So I made sure you got that Silver egg. I made sure you became a Rider. And now I will make sure you either become a Shade or join the shades..." Elessar drew Rakr and charged He began drawing energy from his Bracelet. His anger was overwhelming all his life he was nothing but a pawn...A tool for his Fathers usage. Now he would end this even if it destroyed the both of them. And he knew only one person will walk out of this alive. And Elessar had to make it him. OOC :Sorry for that change I wanted to add on to my characters storyline...

Blake quickly settled into the dragon's saddle, ready to fly when Elessar suddenly decided to go back inside. "What?" she asked. She growled in frustration. "I'm so not getting paid enough for this," she complained. The trouble it took to get the elf out of here, combined with the extremely vauge memory flashes, shrieking voices, and headaches, made this entire venture seem hardly worth the effort. If her client wanted him out so badly, why didn't they just come get him themselves? She glared at the entrance impatiently. "Come on already," she muttered, getting off the dragon and pacing outside, contemplating going back in to get him. She'd drag the elf out by his hair if she had to.
