Kalri saw Mar's concentration on the terrain ahead. As he picked up the pace, she followed suit, trying to feel what he was sensing. She placed her hand upon her back, feeling for the small dagger hidden there. One of many she had placed upon her.

Caleb slowly took after the two assassigns. "Balvir, if we can capture the girl, old Galby would be very upset." "Yes he would, and he would search high and low for her." Balvir replied. Caleb stated formulating a plan to get the girl in his grasp, he had a magic supressing drug on him for enemy Riders, so that was in check, the only thing was how to get the girl away from the man.

They made it to the oasis, Mar not even out of breath. Placing his things on the ground, he filled a cup with water and splashed his face. He was in a dazed state, not paying attention to the area around them, which was not like him at all.

Kalri went on ahead. Checking out the oasis. She had never been here before and wanted to familiarize herself with the surroundings. As always, she committed everything she saw to memory for reference later. She looked back over her shoulder to check on Mar and saw him splashing water on his face. Smiling she returned to her task at hand.

Caleb snuck up on the man washing his face, and quickly knocked him out with the hilt of his sword. He did it soundlessly, and quickly moved him away, trying to get the girl to follow. "Come on now, just a follow the trail." Caleb thought.

(OOC: Yeah it is Caleb but Taran set it up for you and gave you permission before he left so it's okay.)
Kalri turned to check on Mar again. Looking back to the oasis she didn't see him any longer. 'Where did he get off to now?' she wondered as she made her way back to the spot. Arriving she looked around. Calling out to Sabonth, she told her to fly on ahead. 'We'll be up shortly. I have to find Mar. He is testing me again.' She laughed briefly, he always did something to test her when she wasn't paying attention. It was like a game with them. Her eyes narrowed as she saw the footprints leading away. They were deep in the ground, deeper than the marks he normally made. She looked around and seeing no signs of struggle, shrugged her shoulders. 'He carries something large.' Intrigued, Kalri started off in the direction of the tracks trying to imagine what Mar could have.

Caleb sat and watched the little girl come into the woods, where he sat in a tree, waiting on his chance. "Come on, just a little bit more." he thought

Kalri followed Mar's trail. He always tested her when she least expected it. It was a game that the two of them had played ever since he took the roll as her body guard. The trail led into the trees. Kalri followed as her mind was preoccupied with thoughts of her mother and what Mar had told her. She was oblivious to her surroundings as she thought of what he said. He was sent to bring Nashante to Galbatorix. Kalri had always assumed that Nashante had been a willing participant in giving him an heir.

Caleb jumped down from the tree he was hiding in and knocked Kalri in the back of the head with his sword. He quickly gave her the drug and threw her over his shoulder

Kalri felt the presence too late. The man surprised her hitting her over the head as he jumped from the tree. As her sight dimmed, she fell to the ground, unconscious. She never had time to react.

Caleb quickly called Balvir before the girls dragon could find them. They left the boy for dead, and as they flew, Caleb wasn't sure about that part, but he had no choice. He flew hard and far, contacting General Manning to the rendevous point.

Kalri was vaguely aware of what was happening. She tried in her stupor to contact Sabonth but was unable. She stirred a little as she tried to access her magic but was unable to. 'Drugged!' she thought. 'Fine. I don't need magic to take care of this worm.' She awakened enough to struggle with the Rider who had her. "Insolent swine! Release me!" she screamed at him. Her head was pounding from where he hit her, fueling her rage even more. She struck at him with her fists, trying to break free from his grasp.

Caleb sat there an laughed. Her blows hurt, but not enough for him to let go. He had been beaten by soldiers so much that this was nothing to him. He looked at the girl and said, "Be still or else I drop you and I'm not going to catch you. You have no access to magic or contact to your dragon. Again, I'd advise you to be still.".

Kalri felt her rage growing. 'He threatens me? Well we will just see about that!' "Drop me and you loose your prisoner as welll as your advantage swine!" With that she reached out to bite him as she continued her assault upon him with her fists. "If we were on the ground I would make you pay dearly for your insult!"

"You couldn't hurt me if you tried." he said, gritting his teeth at her nuisance. "I see no advantage of you being alive. I could've killed you when I first knocked you out if I wanted to." he said. He was growing frustrated at how annoying she was being. "If she'd just be calm she'd be ok, I'm not going to hurt her.".
