Marola's eyebrows knit together for a moment, thinking. "I was actually heading to Gil'ead," she told him, "It's been some days since I've seen my baby, and I'll go mad it I wait any longer to see him."

Max smiled over at Marola. "Well, then, in that case, I'll go with you," he said,"I'll fly right next to you....if you think that'll be safe."

Marola smiled up at Max where he sat on his dragon's back. "Well, as long as you don't mind putting up with a pesky bodyguard who's business it knowing everything I'm up to at all times," she told him, walking over and lightly putting a hand on Tienavva's side. "Well met," she told the dragon quietly, "It's so nice to see that both Max and I have gotten our childhood wishes."

Eragon led vanadoth back into the castle. He walked straight up to the Door of Nasuada's office and waited as the guards shouted his name to her.

Elaine's eyebrows drew down in aggitation. Why would this ancient allow them to fight again! He was down, and should be chained and taken back to Nasuada! Why give him another chance to escape! "Ancient Khaos," Elaine began, "Why? This is a war, we can't afford to allow this fight. Personal vendettas and matters of hate have no importance here. We must take the empire rider and put him in chains. Not only is he an empire rider, but a traitor to the elves! This fight is too dangerous!" she dared to say. Beside her, Eridor shifted from foot to foot. ***
"Let them enter." Nasuada commanded. A dwarven Knighthawk bowed and moved to the sturdy oak doors and pulled them open, admitting Eragon and a woman that stood beside him.

Einar agreed with Elaine, but somehow, he understood what the Ancient was talking about. He looked at Stigandr. What do you think? Elaine is right - personal vendettas will bring no advantage for the Varden, however, Ancient Khaos is correct as well, for neither will be able to concentrate on anything else until they have their revenge. You should understand it. Tyr was your rival and until he was destroyed, all that you cared about was unsafe. Sometimes, a fight must take place for progress to continue, such is the way of war. Stigandr opinionated. Einar nodded, but still was unsure. He glanced from Stigandr and then to Elaine, conflicted, for he agreed with both.
He told Elaine Stigandr's opinion. "Despite that, I agree with you Elaine. Their battle will only cause more damage. We are at war; we do not have time to oblige all things. However, this matter must be settled as well. Let us take both of them to Lady Nasuada, perhaps she has a way to settle this?"

It is my pleasure to grant it, Teinaava said, giving a draconic smile down at Marola,And, just so you don't feel so embarrassed, Max still hasn't gotten over that night you two shared back in Gil'ead. His emotions have all been twisted out of control ever since then. "'Naava!!!!" Max shouted out, slapipng the dragon on the neck, his face growing beat red,"I was not! I-I was completely normal!" He looked down at Marola. "Don't listen to this big bag of scales. He's just full of hot air," he said, grinning.

Marola smiled at her friend's dragon, and nearly burst out in laughter when she saw Max's reaction. "If that is so," she replied, barely keeping her face blank, "then why are you turning the color of a beet?"

Max's face got redder at marola's response, something he didn't think was possible. "L-let's just go, all right?" He said, sitting up and scratching his head,"C'mon. Get on Rauthr and let's go before they decide not to let you leave."

this thread went miraculously dead. As I said on x-men, its me. As soon as my sun-shine presence departs everyone becomes depressed and moves on.

Bowing her head, Elaine heard what Einar had to say. Her hand gripped tighter the pommel of her sword. She could not deny the truth of Stigandr's words. Straightening, she nodded once. "I understand. My apologies, Rider Khaos," she said to the ancient with a bow, "it seems I spoke too hastily. In the future, I shall think more carefully my words." Her eyes moved to the two mortal foes, and she hoped that the varden rider would reign victorious in the iniment battle.

Intrigued, Nasuada straightened in her chair, eager to hear what news her rider's brought. "I see. Let me hear it, then." Clasping her hands together, Nasuada rested them on the desk before her.
