Tismri nodded sadly to Locien's words. She was aware that there was a fuller battle raging around her, but she couldn't stop worrying about Sidhion. She had healed him of all the physical damage she had inflicted, but he still remained unmoving and unconscious. Something deep within her, her human nature, told her to leave him. He had betrayed them all more deeply and personally than Tismri had ever known before. She had already been living in Ismalia when Galbatorix had his revolt, so she never knew him. Sidhion, however, had been among her closest friends, and one she had trusted. But it was because of that friendship that she refused to leave his side now, until she knew he would recover. Locien...something is still wrong. What is it?

Teodora brightened visibly when Tristan's eyes opened and he spoke. She couldn't even think of a response for the old couple, and was spared the need when Lucia dragged Seth out. "Tristan." she said, studying his face, "the battle has not yet been decided. It has only just begin, I fear." Raising his hand, she let her lips kiss it softly. "Blasted man," she muttered, though there was no anger in her voice now. "Always trying to die on me." ***
Viel snapped at Eridor's wingbone, drawing a nasty nick. The gray dragon bugled in outrage, and before she could roll away, she felt one of his talons scrape her belly. Vana felt all this too, though her mind was blocked. She stiffened when someone else touched her mind, seeking entrance. As Viel rolled through the sky, locked with Eridor, she noticed Typhon hovering in the distance, looking in their direction. With sudden realization, Vana allowed her mind to open briefly. Elaine is a skilled rider, Kyler! And the dragon is no youngling. Viel roared then, having managed to sink her teeth into Eridor's foreleg. He whined in pain and struggled backwards to escape, but Viel clung on.
Suddenly a gray blade slashed towards Viel's snout, cutting through scales and flesh. Vana shouted in rage and moved too late to protect her bond. She glared at Elaine, who wore a determined snarl. Kyler! Make your move now! Before she can heal her bond! Vana shouted mentally to him, just as Viel broke away from the dragon known as Stormwing.
Viel rolled away, and now sped towards Selene to aid her in the fight.

Tristan let out a soft grin as Teodora kissed his hand. Finally! He thought, pleased that she was now visibly showing her affection. He managed a small laugh at her comments, but didn't dare laugh harder due to his exhaustation and lingering pains. "Well, how else am I going to get your attention?" He gave her his sly smile. He let his smile and eyes gaze at her before remembering that a battle was still taking place. His smile faltered slightly. "We must help the battle. We need to get Romulus away from Tenal Ka." He told her, trying to get up, but was met with difficulty as he knew not that Rom was possessed and was being healed or that Tenal Ka was in her own fight in the sky.
*** OOC: Marie, I think Amber and Midnight are the only Varden dragons that are attacking Slade... Aiden and Lenora (those are the ones I think you are referring to, were just heading in that direction...lol...I'll have them wander somewhere else...lol)
Slade yowled as he was attacked from both sides. Selene could sense the pain of her bond, but Slade was in a blind rage now. I will kill you all! He thundered, his bloodlust evident as he clawed and teared into the dragon before him, whilst Selene did her best to defend Slade's flank from the other dragon. "Jierda!" She commanded the magic within her to break the dragon before her. "Skolir!" She shielded Slade as the dragon tried to tear into her black friend. She continued to mutter spells and slash with her claymore at the dragon as well. She only hoped that the riders would not join...they seemed quite confident to not get involved. She noticed, in the distance, to her relief, a red dragon coming.
*** I can handle them! Help Selene! Kyler had replied with urgency as he sensed Vana was deeply involved with her fight. He knew that it wasn't the best idea to interfere, especially with Viel in her bloodlust, but Selene was in more dire need, and Typhon wouldn't be able to fight that advanced yet. You underestimate me. You only wanted to give Vana and Viel easy kills. And give me the pleasure to test my skills on a more challenging opponent. Typhon's mind connected with Kyler's. Kyler smirked. Perhaps.
On Vana's command, Kyler had Typhon let out a roar and a massive stream of flames. "Focus on me, now, mighty Rider! I am your adversary now!" Kyler yelled out as Typhon charged after the stream of flames into Eridor. We will not kill them. Kyler and Typhon thought together as they placed all their knowledge of dragon fighting into action. They never had, in reality, been in a real fight, together, before.

Quickly Teodora put her hands on Tristan's shoulders, keeping him from trying to rise again. "Stubborn!" she accused him. "You cannot enter the battle again, you are still weak. But don't worry about Tenal Ka. She has thwarted Rom, and is now up in the sky with Caedus. The dragons all battle, and it is a sight to behold." she said, growing somewhat distant as her mind recalled the images of fighting dragons, the sheer beauty and terribleness of it. Blinking, she returned her full attention to Tristan. "You must rest. And don't worry, you have my full attention now. I will make sure you do not sneak off to try and be a hero again." ***
Viel's bloodlust drove her to attack, to rip and tear and shred. She was angry to be pulled back from the gray-wing. He was a fine opponent, and it would have been to her glory to have killed him. And she could have! But Vana desired otherwise, so she obeyed, for now. She could not, after all, let one under her wing be outnumbered. Rather than announce her arrival with a roar, Viel sailed silently towards Slade and the Varden whelps. Picking one, she slammed into the dragon, her teeth searching for the pray's neck. ***
"After them, Eridor!" Elaine shouted. Before Eridor could give chase, and before Elaine could begin to heal his wounds, a stream of flame blocked their path. Out of the inferno another dragon charged them, gleaming like a sheet of ice. Eridor roared in surprise and twisted to meet this new opponent, his thick fangs bared in a snarl. Elaine assessed the new rider in the brief moment before the dragons collision. He seemed young, but confident. He was not a rider she recognized, however, and that made her wary. On a whim, Elaine raised Celobra and saluted the new rider. He had announced himself well, and she felt he would be one to act with honor. But now there was not time for salutations. Eridor rammed into Typhon, his fangs searching hungrily for the young dragons throat.

OOC: Opps forgot to post Sidhion! Sorry Jeriah.
Locien gazed down at the two Riders. His mind searching for Sidhion's consciousness. He pulled back, slighlty more somber when he discovered what was mentally ailing his rider. He is afraid to face you and Trinn. He has placed himself in a silent slumber. Locien nearly growled out in frustration. He is too stubborn! Do not be weak, Sidhion! Face our Wyrda! Sidhion ordered his Rider. You must speak with him, Tismri...he always respected your words... Locien pleaded with Tismri, hoping that he did not betray his Rider's emotions at the same time.
*** "So you think me a hero? You sure you wish to call a man that?" He teased Teodora, if only to ease his tension. He wanted to be out there in the battle. He was a Prince of Ismalia. His duty was to his people. However, the idea of being alone with Teodora, having her fawn over him, was appealing. He laid back down, and then noticed that they were in a stranger's tent. "Where are we?" He asked, not knowing that he was now, lying on Meera's bed.
*** Typhon whimpered from Eridor's fangs as it contacted his neck. Kyler gritted his teeth as he twirled his sais, and as he listened to Typhon's pains. He pushed them aside. Typhon could handle himself, even if he was a bit young compared to these experienced dragons. The icy dragon wiggled himself in a better position as he began to slash at Eridor's face and long neck, trying to find a place that he could sink his talons into. Kyler jostled in his seat, as he watched Elaine. They were still a bit far apart for their own combat, but he knew that this Rider could do magic, but he wondered, with his half Ismalian blood now connected with a dragon, how he could fare in battle. He had practiced a bit with Einar a few months back, but still had the same results when he wasn't bonded.

Tismri glanced up at Locien as he told her what was wrong with his Rider. Sidhion was afraid? Of what? Did he fear battling against two others with their own Emeralds? Or was it the fact that they were old comrades and friends? Was some part of him afraid of harming them? She wondered, as she reached for the elf's mind. Sidhion, she said to him. I know you can hear me, so heed my words. Running away and hiding within yourself is not what you should do. Hiding away in your mind is a cowardly action, one I thought we all had cast aside centuries ago. You are not a god and are therefore fallible. Accept this with dignity. Her voice took a more gentle turn. Come, Sidhion. There is no reason for us to continue this meaningless fighting. Return, and let us talk as we used to. Restore our friendship while you still can. Please, Sidhion.

Mammon stared at the glowing ball of electricity that soared towards him, he knew he didnt have much time to cast a ward, and judging by the power in the spell the ward would only absorb a faction of the power. He uttered something deep and harsh sounding and the swirling black gem in the hilt of his blade jumped to life. A sphere of pure darkness enveloped both him and Baal. Mammon quietly prayed this tactic would work, as it had in the past, although drawing on his own sealed and tattered soul as energy was risky, he needed the power it could give him in this battle. He smiled as the electric ball slammed into his dark ward and it held. However, drawing on his soul caused him to weaken just enough, Hreinteinn slipped into control.
Hreinteinn stared at the darkness that enveloped him, he heard Mammon's pleas to not drop the spell, to let him finish the "treacherous snake". Hreinteinn weighed his options and once he saw the electric ball fade he dropped his ward and stared into Trinn's eyes. "You must strike me down while he is weak, you must remove me from this battle before he draws on my soul more. He has imprisoned me within my own blade you must not allow him to fight on." Hreinteinn shouted at her. His blue eyes filled with misery and pain "Save me Trinn, save me from the monster I have created." He begged as the yellow in his eyes, signifying Mammon's return slowly started overtaking the blue.
"Don't worry Mammon's tied Hreinteinn's soul to that blade, I think if you cut Mammon down Hreinteinn might gain enough strength to overpower Mammon and resume control." Baal explained to Trinn. "But we must act fast." He added his urgency in his deep voice.

ooc: I thought we weren't supposed to powerplay. :/
Midnight held off the dragon's claws with quick blocks and slashes as he flew from his attacking range, and sent out a quick burst of fire at the rider.
Amber gave a few hard blows before she noticed the rider doing a spell. Marie did a quick check on the wards she had put around Amber, and found they would hold up against this spell. Amber blinked as the simple spell simply dissipated on the wards. Marie felt some of the energy in her gem being used, but knew there would be plenty more. Amber was about to continue her bashing when a whoosh of large wings came from the side. She had just enough time to extend her claws in front of her before the large dragon slamed into them. Amber braced herself as the impact hit, and Marie had to hold on. Are you ok? Marie asked. Fine, hopfully my claws did something. Amber dug in, and tried to get a hold of the dragon's neck so she could bite down.

The Time has come to prove that me and you fight for the varden and are not spies but I would much rather fight on the ground basil "let's get going or we will miss the fight" yes let us go so they took of in to the fray enialating anyone in there path then out of the fray a blood curdling scream rang forth "let us see why some one screams like that" so they made their way through the crowds of men urgle and dwarves to where they found an extremely gory sight and a shade standing among the fray I figured out how we can prove our selves " and how is that"said basil by defiting a shade "that will be no small feat" no you are right it will be hard but I think we can do it but I am going to get some help from an elf cover me I am going to contact eragon. Eragon I need help with a shade can u send an elf. Yes I will send blödhgarm to help. Thank you shadeslayer. You are quite Welcom. Ok he is sending help look for blödgarm " I see him he is coming our way" hello young dragon and rider I hear you need help with a shade. yes he is just over there but I would like to kill him I just need your help so I may kill him. Ok I will suply you with the knowledge and power tho kill him. But I will do no more. Thank you I am going to see how good his wards are. He pulls out draumr kópa and Nocks an arrow and fires as he exspected the arrow burst into a fine black powder a few inchs from his right eye momentaraly blinding his right eye so gidion took the opening and atacked the shade but was not fast enough because the shade recovered and formed a sword but no sheild and crossed blades with gidion he felt the shades mind and stabbed at it trying to subdue him then blödgarm told him a small but help full spell Wich distracted the shade from his mental battle and he was able to take control of the shades mind and agin blödgarm interjected and this time to say what a good job he did then to tell him that he must stab him through the heart to kill him so gidion said a spell to bind the shades hands and feet then left his mind and stabbed seveal times to get through his wards then finally the sword priced the shades side and he lashed out with his mind making gidion retreat in his self then he took his sword and said with light I slay the dark stabbed the shade through the heart and heard the horrible scream that followed.
