Elyria lie against the green dragon. 'Domia. Do you feel that?' She had sensed someone watching them but she didn't sense any threat, just a sadness within. The dragon didn't raise his head, not want to alert the presence that they were aware of it. 'I do Elyria. Perhaps we should just wait and see. Be careful though and do not let your guard down. We are in Empire territory afterall.' With that they waited.

Elianora approached with caution now, making sure that the two could see her. She stopped a several yards away. First she met the dragon's eyes, twin deep spheres of knowledge. Then she touched her fingers to her lips in greeting, a habit from when she lived in the forest. . . .
She shook her head, stopping those thoughts before they developed properly. "To whom are you alleged?" she asked in the Ancient Language.

Elyria looked at the woman approached, rising to stand as she saw the greeting. Holding out her hands in Rider fashion, she spoke to the woman in the Ancietn Language. "I fight with the Varden though my allegiance lies only to my friend here, Domia. I am Elyria of Ceunon. Who might you be and where do you're allegiances lie?" The woman had tri-colored eyes with long golden hair. Elyria noticed her ears where slightly pointed. Reaching up to her own she lightly traced the faint point of her own. 'Curious' she thought to herself.

Elianora considered how best to answer for a moment. "Greetings, rider and Brightscales. I am Elianora, half-elven. Though I live nowhere at present, I am for the elves and Varden."
Her eyes examined the pair closely, thinking hard before continuing. "Most humans call me by Eli or Nora. As did my father. He was of the royal elven blood. My mother was human, and died when I was eleven. My father was killed by the Nameless Two. And I am over three centuries old, though I look but sixteen." She grimaced. "A spell went wrong and my physical appearance was stuck in the same way."
She didn't know why she explained all of this to a perfect stranger, but it felt. . . good. Yes, good to get a fraction of her pain off her mind. Looking at the bright side of life often made everything else hide in a pit, only to reemerge to haunt again with their stark reality. And she felt she could trust these two. Perhaps they can help me.

Elyria listened as the woman told her about herself. Gesturing toward the camp she said, "Well Elianora. Our camp is modest but you are welcome to join us. I was just thinking about something to eat. Would you care for something to eat?"

The camp looked nice after days of hard travel. What could she lose?
"Yes, I will join you. If it isn't disagreeable to your dragon," Elianora added.
"And I might even predict your future. Let me collect my things." She muttered a few words and her supplies appeared with a sharp burst of light blue light. "There, now I'm all set. Now, perhaps you can tell me about yourself as we eat."

Domia sent the woman a feel of welcome, inviting her in to the camp. Elyria sat back down. "I am sorry but there is not much to tell about me. My parents, Natal and her husband Hern, found me as a babe while they were travelling home to Ceunon from Kuasta. Seeing no one around or anything out of order, they took me in and raised me as their only child. My life in Ceunon was happy, playing along the edge of De Weldenvarden, I found Domia and...well now I travel on behalf of the Varden seeking justice and right for the people of Alagaesia."
Looking at the supplies that lay in front of her she thought to herself 'The future I know. It is the past that whispers in my mind. What happened to the parents who gave me life? What made them hide me?'
She had no idea that her mother, a human and member of the assassin coven, and her father, an elf, had given their lives to protect her and a sister of which she did not know...a twin. They had been slain when they would not agree to Galbatorix's request that the girls be brought up in his service. There was something different and special about the girls and he wanted them for his own. Her mother was a covener and she had fallen in love with an elf. She had left the coven to be with him since taking a mate for anything more than increasing their numbers was not allowed. The assassin coven believed love to be a weakness. Her father left Ellesmeara when they would not accept the human witch as his lifemate. Elyria had no idea that she had a sister. A sister, who until recently had a soul as dark as hers was light. A sister who was reclaimed by the seithr's coven and raised in the ways of the witches and the assassin.
(OOC: The back story on the twins is developing but that is the basic info.)

OOC: Cool
Elianora crossed her legs as she sat by the fire. She stared into the wavering flames, deep in thought. "You really have nothing to complain about," she wanted to say. "You're father didn't go crazy when your mother died."
Though she had seen it, she still could not beleive that an elf had gone crazy, well, mostly anyway. Her father Eogen still knew things, and could tell night from day and use magic, but he had lost much of his will to live. When he'd begged to Elianora for her to stay with him, she could hardly refuse, not knowing what would become of him otherwise.
The dragon's conscience touched her mind barrier, and Elianora let in the flow of kindness. "I once almost had a dragon," she said aloud. "But the Forsworn killed it before it could hatch."

Elyria looked at Elianor sensing her pain. "Aye. If you wish you could read my fortune." She tried to change the womans focus because whatever she was thinking was causing her sadness. "I must warn you, I have never held much faith in fortune telling but I will keep an open mind."

Taran enjoyed the silence as he traveled, though there were small conversations, but nothing taking more than a few minutes.

"What I do is more an . . . estimation of what will come for you," Elianora explained in quiet tones. "It might change, it might not." Silence greeted her words and she smiled for the first time that day.
"Still, after living for three centuries, I have been able to develop this skill." She leaned toward the fire, her eyes intense, focused. "Reflect the image of the mind," she whispered in the Ancient Language. The dancing flames slowly turned transparent in the center as images appeared. Elianora knew that the other woman would not be able to see what she saw, and she closed her mind with a firm, impenetrable barrier.
Now she waited for the images to slow, either showing the future, or showing the path of decision Elyria was making. Her brow furrowed at something lurking behind the pictures, unseen. She felt a pull to it, though she knew not how she could connect to it. This was someone else's future that slowly unraveled, not her own.
The images finally slowed, and she began to read the flames.

Elyria watched Elianora intently. 'Perhaps she can see the future Domia. Can you feel the power emanating from her?' Domia indicated that he could as he watched the woman. "Elianora? Are you ok?"

Elyria's voice sounded distant as Elianora studied the flames. 'Strange' she thought. 'I see not one, but several people's lives.' Elyria's future predominated, but there was also another. Another girl, who's life somehow connected with Elyria's. This other girl also had a dragon, but her powers were dark
Hundreds of images sprang from the fire, inflaming Elianora's mind as the frequency and intensity of the images grew. No distinction could be made as the pictures flowed into another. Now sound arose too, cutting off everything from the present.
The half-elf twitched and sweat appeared on her forehead. She leaned in closer to the flames, unaware of the great heat rolling from them. 'What? What's going on?' she screamed in her mind. 'Too many images! burning! fire!'
Then the fire flashed, visible even to Elyria and Domia, and a new, gentle image appeared. That of a pale blue dragon egg. The sight of the egg calmed her, and she was able to release the magic. With a start she pulled away from the flames and closed her eyes. "What does it mean?" she murmured.

Elyria hurridly grabbed her waterskin. Tearing off a piece of her shirt, she wet it and held it out to Elianora. She feared that the woman might have been burnt when the flames flashed. "Are you okay? What happened?" Elyria asked her concerned.

"I saw a confusion of images," Elianora replied, accepting the shirt. "But predominantly were images of you and another woman, one who is alike and yet not alike to you. I do not understand all of the images; too many people's lives are connected to yours." She bathed her face and sighed.
