"Might you have feelings for one of us, Marie?" Jason asked, breaking the akward silence. I shouldn't shove her into this, but we cannot stand around forever.
I understand. His bond said.
Marie looked up from the leaf she had been watching. "Yes." She said in a quiet murmur.
"Which one?" Jason gazed at Marie. Why try to hide his affection for her now?
"That's just it." Marie said. "It isn't just 'one' of you."

Jason couldn't stop himself from turning his head quickly to look at Baviel. What was he thinking at this moment? Is he angry for my loving her as well? Jason let some anger brew inside him. Marie should be with him. Not Baviel.
Jason, don't... Midnight said at the back of his mind. Jason frowned.
What is wrong with me? We are friends. I shouldn't...

Baviel raised an eyebrow when he heard Jason's question, feeling slightly annoyed to hear that he was kind of rushing poor Marie, but kept silent as he waited for a answer from her. When he heard her answer his eyes widened slightly and looked at Jason's direction, eyes slightly narrowed, and thought, This might be harder then I thought... It might be hard to compete against one of her own kind, but he wasn't about to give up without some sort of fight.

Shiroryuu growled a warning at Baviel, knowing his bond would understand what he meant about it, and then continued to clean his scales. Baviel took a deep breath to calm his nerves and his partial temper, then grinned to try and lighten the mood and said, "Well Marie, I love you and respect you more than anything, I just hope that whatever you choose you choose for your happiness."

He bowed in elven respect towards her than straightened up and smiled kindly towards her, hoping it would help her choose whomever without much worry at all. Shiroryuu made a draconic sigh and began curling up into a more comfortable position and began to doze somewhat, growing bored with two-legged problems and wondered if Amber and Midnight felt somewhat the same way as he did.

OOC: XD The catfish I had looked yummy... It got loose when my dad bumped the bucket into the lake. Opps! XD I also somehow caught a huge goldfish that was bigger than the catfish! I wonder how Baviel and Jason will start fighting over her... XD

Marie looked at Jason and Baviel. How could she choose between them? Amber wanted to say something to help Marie. After a moment consideration she left this to her bond. Amber retreated from Marie's mind, slightly annoyed by the overwhelming affection for Baviel and Jason.
"I'm not sure I could choose between..." Marie sentence cut off while she thought deeply.

Jason shot a glance toward Baviel.
Would he fight me? Jason wonered to himself. Baviel's eyes seemed to narrow a bit. Jason took this as a bit of a threat. Jason, in turn, narrowed his own a little. If this would come down to a fight, Jason was ready. Of corse, he wasn't sure if he would actually hurt Baviel. Not that kind of fight... but if it came down to it...

Two-legs. Amber mentally muttered, keeping this to herself. Their problems were very annoying, even more so for all the bonds of riders who might have to deal with this and their feelings. Amber looked to Shiroryuu. Shiro, Amber touched his mind, using his nickname to adress him. What do you suppose will happen? Do have any insight to what Baviel is thinking of doing?

Shiroryuu looked at Amber with an eye gazing at her direction, a little shock from her using his nickname, and said, I know not what will happen Amber, but if I know my bond well, and I do, he will be respectful and yet he will not let Marie go unless she doesn't want him. Baviel saw Jason shoot a glance at him, eyes narrowed, and couldn't help but to have a impish grin come across his face as he thought, Looks like Jason wishes a fight against him... As friendly as he is, if he wants a fight he'll give him one he wouldn't soon forget.

After the thought he instantly threw it aside, hoping it didn't come to it and looked to Marie with a curious look, wondering what she was thinking. Well... I hope she will be happy with at least one of us, no matter whom it is. He bowed towards Marie then looked to Jason and said, "Jason... I can see you love Marie about as much as I do... and I can tell you are jealous or angry about the fact I love Marie, and how she loves both me and you... I must ask though... how far are you willing to take this?"

He then looked at Jason with a blank face showing he wasn't going to back down, but not interested in fighting unless needed. Shiroryuu looked towards the three 'two-legs' then back to Amber still waiting to leave at their request.

OOC: Not like I was going to eat a goldfish. Then I guess it'll happen when it happens. I'm in the mood to rp a fight, just not so much between my fav characters. Maybe we should have a battle later? That always excites a thread. Epic longness! Sorta...

Amber looked at the two-legs. Jason and Baviel looked like they might start a fight any moment, while Marie appeared worried. As will Jason... If it comes down to that, I just hope one won't beat up the other too much. If so, I will personally drag either one from the fight. Amber replied. Amber gazed at her bond, feeling her own worry. It would be easier for all if Marie would choose. That way they could all just get over this. She couldn't help wondering who Marie would choose. Jason was, in fact, an elf. Though, Marie met Baviel first.

Jason knew this could get bad if they let it, but he wasn't about to give up Marie. Unless she chose. Jason thought he might be able to beat Baviel in a fight. With him being an elf, but Baviel was older. He might be more experienced. Of corse, Jason would have more experience with magic. He had been able to use it most his life, while Baviel probably started when he became a rider. It must be odd for him to be older than an elf. Jason thought. He looked at Baviel after he asked a question. "It depends" He said "on how far this has to go." Jason looked at Baviel with a confident stare.

Marie was shocked by Jason's answer. He was more aggressive than she'd thought. She wondered if they would really fight this out. It seemed they would. She couldn't just stand around and watch them hurt each other. If they did, indeed, start a fight Marie wondered if they would stop if she brought herself into it in order to break them apart. She would do so if it got too bloody.
Marie, you can prevent a fight by choosing. Amber said gently.
What if the other would want revenge on the one I chose?
Do you really believe that would happen?
Maybe, I just need more time to choose. The one I don't choose might leave. I might lose one of them, Amber.
Marie watched Jason, he seemed to be the one who most wanted a fight. She watched Jason take one hand to touch his sword handle, then let it rest beside his leg.

OOC: Up to you sense it's your thread lol i mind not if a fight ensues though Baviel doesn't like to fight against a friend even worse then just a random person, but we'll see.

Baviel mentally sighed while he kept his face blank, seeing Jason's confident look, and thought, I rather dislike it when an elf looks down at me... some are exceptions including Marie and Jason... though it seems to me like Jason wishes to irritate me. I really wish Marie would pick soon, before a fight does come up. Baviel then closed his eyes, settling any anger that began to show and looked at Jason more as an observation, wondering what he will do next.

Shiroryuu closed his eyes for a short time and gave a draconic sigh when he heard Amber's comment. I was afraid of that... I hope that nothing goes wrong with this, or I will scold both of them for how dumb they have acted. Shiroryuu continued to watched the three riders as a sentinel, watching for any danger for either of them while they continued on about their business.

As he observed Jason he occasionally looked at Marie out of the corner of his eye in hopes of her having reached her decision, then back at Jason. While he waited he noticed Jason's hand lower and touching his sword hilt, and then unconsciously hovered over his own hilt while looking at Jason with a blank stare. After noticing Jason's hand down to his side did Baviel move his hand slightly away from his own hilt, though he didn't wish to take a risk from being unprepared.

Jason wasn't sure he could take this much longer. Marie didn't seem to want to make a choice between them. Baviel's hand hovered over his sword for a moment. Jason nearly touched his sword once more. I would rather not start a fight, but if he makes a move so do I. Jason thought to himself.

Midnight would stay out of this. Let the two-legs figure it out. Until it gets too bloody. Then I might have to stop one from hurting the other badly.

I might be wrong, Shiroryuu, but I think Marie plans to get in the middle of this when and if they fight to stop them from hurting each other. I'd rather she not, she could get hurt as well. I suppose I wouldn't be able to stop her if she felt it nessesary.

Marie could sense the tension between Baviel and Jason. Their hands stayed close to their swords as if expecting the other to attack any moment. If they did Marie could get in there and keep them away from each other. Unless they were moving too fast, then she might just get herself cut or cut one of them. Marie kept her hand beside her own sword is case she would need it to break up a fight or block their blows at each other. Only if she had to, she decided. I won't let one hurt or even kill the other.

Baviel was growing rather tired of waiting to see if Jason was going to attack him, or not. He took a calm breath and thought about what to do, and came to a conclusion. As he came to a conclusion he addressed both Marie and Jason and said, "I wish not to fight a friend for someone who is both someone i cherish dearly and an incredible friend, I propose this alternative, unless you wish to try and cut me down instead, is to fight with what we have no swords knives or anything else, just with our bodies." Baviel put his hand to his hilt, drew his sword, and stabbed it to the ground, taking a few steps away from it to show he will not use it, then looked at Jason wondering if he will comply with his gesture.

I'd rather not have to fight to a near death with Jason just to prove anything. I hope we just can fight till a person is down for a few seconds, using wits, head, arms, and legs nothing more. It will cause less blood and it might still give Jason satisfaction to still show dominance over him in what he might think would win Marie's favor. He sighed then looked towards Marie, showing a gentle smile, both as a sign of affection, but also a sign of reassurance for anything she might be worried about, if anything.

Shiroryuu mentally nodded as a sage would and said, I figured as much, and I'm sure Baviel or even Jason would do the same for her if the situation was somewhat reversed. He looked towards Amber with one of his giant eyes while finishing his sentence, then stood up and stretched sense he was growing stiff from laying still for so long. Baviel looked at Jason, somewhat relaxed, and said, "Jason, my dear friend, do you still wish to fight with me just to prove a point or is it something more?"

crossing his arms somewhat as he looked to Jason then continued saying, "I wish not to fight a friend, for I find it to be rather more cruel then anything. You and I both love Marie dearly, but what drives you to want to fight me so? I fear if we fight, even though I will not, but I fear that our friendship might not be as strong as it used to be. I would likely try to be friends, even if Marie and you were together, it wouldn't stop me from still being friends." Baviel looked down somewhat then crouched somewhat finding his legs rather stiff from standing still for a bit.

Jason let himself calm down before answering. "I would, in truth, rather not fight you with a sharp blade. Cutting you to bits would be pointless if we can avoid too much bloodshed. I shall comply." Jason drew his sword, a silver rider's sword he had been allowed to take from the armory. He walked away from Baviel and held the blade out to Marie. "Will you keep this from me? Just to show Baviel that I will not run back to get it."
Marie took it from his palms. "I will, look you both don't have to..." Jason started to walk away, then turned to come back. He gave Marie his knife as well.
"I forgot this..." He left her standing there with his sword and knife in her arms. Marie set them on the ground beside her so she might watch them. Jason looked at Baviel, and lifted his arms up to show his sword belt "No weapons, but myself." Jason looked at Baviel. "It would be wise not to fight at all, but it seems Marie won't choose soon. I fear we might do so anyways."

Marie sighed. No weapons. Good. For now. At least they won't cut each other to bits. What am I going to do with them? Males will be males I suppose, but what's the point of fighting over things if it just gets someone killed? Marie thought this only to herself, not wanting Amber's opinion at the moment. It may influence her decision. She wanted this to be her choice alone. Marie looked again at them. Do they really have to fight?

I suppose they would, Shiro. Last time Amber used his nickname she had sensed his surprise, maybe he would be so again. It was quite amusing in a way. Amber dragon-grinned at her friend with a mental friendly tease that was about the surprise he'd felt the first time when she'd used his nickname before toward him.

Jason glanced at Marie before looking back at Baviel. "I do not wish to give her up so easily, so a fight may come between us. If you plan to make a grab for your sword, I will go to Marie and do the same. That is, if she allows me to do so. It seems like this might come between us, but we both wouldn't give up easily."

Baviel looked towards Jason as he saw his friend's silver blade being drawn from it's sheath then watched as Jason walked to Marie seeing how Jason was giving her the sword as a safeguard and to prove a point to Baviel. After a few seconds he saw Marie say something that sounded like they didn't have to do this, but heard her being cut off when Jason turned back to give her his knife as well. Hoping he heard correctly he softly tried to contact Marie saying, Marie... if you can hear me could you please answer me this? Is there anything else to show how much we love you... to have to choose between us easier? If so I'm open to a suggestion because fighting with Jason feels wrong to me... though if I must I will do it.

Shiroryuu looked at Amber again with surprise, though not as surprised as before, then replied while noticing Amber's draconic smile, I think Baviel is trying to find a less violent way to win Marie's favor. rolling his giant eyes before continuing to watch the three two legs and their feud. After finishing the thought Baviel closed his eyes before looking at Jason when he heard him say something to which he replied, "I guarantee you I will not touch my sword in this conflict you seem to want..."

Baviel then gave a somewhat icy glare at Jason feeling somewhat angry, yet annoyed by the fact a fight between them seemed inevitable, then he continued, "Well... whenever you want to begin, come at me and don't stop till I'm on the ground, or vice versa." He took a deep breath as he set into a fighting stance similar to a sword-fighting stance, waiting for Jason to make the first move.

OOC: Fighting over a Girl. XD I hate making first moves in rps at my characters friend. So akward... When I first mentioned the idea I was thinking more of them just arguing and stuff. Maybe they should just do that instead so we aren't waiting for the other to make a move forever. If it still doesn't work I could just have Marie choose already.

Marie felt Baviel's mind and let relief wash over the mental contact caused by the thought of them not quarreling in such a violent way. I already know how much both of you love me. The real problem is that i'm afraid of the outcome of my choice. One of you might not want to stick around. I might lose a good friend, but this may be the only way if I want to avoid a fight. Marie sighed. I just need some time to figure this out.

I think that is wise of him. Being victor in a fight won't change Marie's mind. She already knows which she most wants to be with. She is afraid of losing one of them. That is why it is so hard for her. Amber looked at Baviel and Jason, her eyes secretly picking out who Marie truly loved. Please do not reveal this to the others or question Marie. It will only make it harder for her. Amber gazed at her bond, feeling the stress of her mental conflict with herself.

Jason was caught off guard. He had let the anger control him. He hadn't thought of what he would do when the fight arose. The fight already had begun before, though they were not beating each other up yet at that time. It was the kind of mental battle where one intimidates the other which was not bloody, but to hurt each other... That was different. To actually hit Baviel... Jason got into a fighting position. He took a step closer to Baviel, expecting him to make a move just when Jason thought he had the first move.

Baviel turned towards Marie when he felt her mental relief and heard her say through their contact about not wanting to lose any of them. Baviel smiled to her and said with reassurance, Don't worry Marie, I can honestly say that no matter your choice I would do my best to be friends with Jason whether you choose me or him I would make sure we don't lose touch of each other as friends.

He sent what warmth and reassurance he could through the contact they shared before turning his attention back towards Jason. Shiroryuu nodded slowly while keeping an eye on Amber while saying, I think Baviel understands that and along with the fact he dislikes to fight in the first place anyway would make this a little easier on Marie, which is a good thing. He turned his attention towards the two-legs again while holding back the urge to just jump between the three of them and just growl in annoyance.

As Baviel watched Jason he eventually relaxed his stance before seeing Jason inch closer towards him. When he saw it he couldn't help, but sigh then said, "Jason tell me, will you be happy with either of Marie's choices, when she decides? I can say for certain to you that if either one of us became Marie's, I would still like to be friends with you." He gave Jason a smile and start laughing finding it funny how he let his temper get the better of him over friendship and love.

OOC: Love this orange text. Ok, then. So, just arguements if you want? Though, they have already done that kind of thing. Mostly with body language. So, it won't be long before Marie reveals who it is, I guess. *Shrug* However it works out. If we feel the need for epicness I might put in a random mini battle. XD I'm starting to wonder if i'm getting too many plot ideas. I have the one about the eldunari still, and now another one is forming XD. Do you have any of your own? :-)

It was not just the fact that Baviel and Jason might have a broken friendship, one of them could begin to feel akward and it might not be the same again. Marie nodded, but did not comment more. Marie felt she needed to converse with Amber. For a brief moment Marie missed having a conversation with Midnight, but he was rightfully bonded with Jason. Still, Marie shared a special connection with him.
Amber what do you think? Should I risk our friendships for this?
I'm afraid you do not have much of a choice. If you do not, things will just get worse.

Midnight quietly groomed himself. The two-legs were still dealing with their problems. He mentally shruged, thinking how odd it would be for a dragon to do so. He knew not what to say, so just left this to them.

Marie knows she must decide to reveal what she feels. She only needs to bring herself to do it. Amber replied simply. Midnight, who seemed somewhat away from the group, was grooming himself. Amber remembered that she might need a bit of grooming, herself. She started on her wings and made her way down her back.

Jason let himself relax. Even if had to, Jason wasn't sure if he would willingly hurt Baviel. Jason realized the false need to fight had only been driven by the want to prove himself. He stood with his hands at his side, the steam washed out of them. "I will be glad for Marie, even if she does not choose me. Which ever way she will be most happy. I will not hold a grudge against you, Baviel, if Marie does choose you. I'd rather this not come between us all, then fight."

Marie gazed at her friends. The tension had been washed away. Marie needed to tell them soon, before it swam back and wormed itself inside their minds. What on earth would she say?

Baviel let out a silent sigh of relief when he saw Jason relax, glad he didn't need to hurt his friend over something unnecessary to fight about. He cringed slightly when he felt just how stiff his legs were and decided to move them around to loosen them up to avoid any muscle strain. Shiroryuu noticed how much more relaxed the two-legs seem to be and was beginning to think this will be over soon, thus started to relax a little as well.

Letting his mood settle Shiroryuu couldn't help, but to yawn, sense he sat there for a prolonged period of time just watching the two-legs bickering. When he finished yawning, Shiroryuu began stretching every limb he could manage while showing agreement to Amber's reply saying, Aye I know how that is... it took me a while and a couple of threats to get Baviel to even tell Marie what she meant to him. After finishing his remark he decided to take flight in a somewhat small circle around them, both to relax and to feel like he was doing something for once.

When he saw his bond take flight, Baviel couldn't help, but grin knowing pretty well why his bond decided to fly. Baviel shot his glance back towards the others looking at them as he tried to gauge what might be going through their heads, but finding it hard to fathom what seemed to bother or buzz inside their minds. Giving up on trying to find out what he began to sat in a cross-legged manner as he started to wait patiently for an answer from Marie, knowing in good time Marie will speak her mind.

it was a nice day for a walk dana thought as she walked through the trees she relly enjoyed walking through the wilderness and smelling the smells and seeing the sights then she heard a different sound that she never encountered in a forest before so she whent to look around then she hear the flaping of wings then she knew what the odd sound was it was the yawn of a dragon as the shadow of the dragon passed over her she heard faint talking and whent to see who it was when she first saw this odd sein she did not know what to think it was of an elf who apired to be male a human girl and a human man the elf and human male looked to be getting on each others nerves but then the tention faded she thought now was the best time to show her self so she moved into the light thanks to gidions cloke now she cloud almost vanish in dark places she steped almot directly acrros from the human girl she then rased her hand and said hi with a polite smile she did not no what els to do so she watied for an answer
