Marola grinned back at him, slyly. "What kind of trouble? I've already eliminated entire gangs in both Gil'ead and Uru'baen, had many people angry at me, people have tried to kill me more than once...what kind of trouble were you thinking?" She laughed.

Max gave a loud bark of laughter as marola rattled off the things she'd done. "Nothing on quite that grand a scale," he said, grinning and giving her a wink,"But, it'll still be fun to watch the end result. "Anyway, I was thinking something along the lines of entice the guards to start chasing us and then ditching them." His grin widened,"It'd make for a nice workout, at least."

Marola smiled at his suggestion, knowing it would be fun to try. "I doubt it would take long, if I ran as fast as I could," she told him, already standing to make her way out, "I'm a bit speedier than I used to be."

"Yeah, I'm sure you have, oh great Rider!" Max said, laughing and standing, making his way to the door to hold it open for her,"After you, milady." He grinned.

Marola smirked a little at his teasing and stood. She couldn't help but roll her eyes when he called her "milady." "Oh, please, I'm anything but a lady. That title is reserved for servants, and only because they insist on it." She made her way down the stairs and out the door.

Max laughed. "Ah, but that's all the more reason to use it," he said, coming up next to her and giving her a wink and a grin.

Marola smiled at his wink. "But in truth, I absolutely hate it. To me titles mean nothing. Outside of my home and the capital, I am no one. I am invisible. I am not rich nor poor, neither strong nor weak. I am just another face in the city. Very few people even know I am Morzan's daughter."

"Well, to me, you're Marola, the girl who was my best friend through my whole childhood," Max said smiling at her,"Nothing grander than that. And I won't treat you any differently than I would anyone else, unless it's for a joke. "That sound fair?"

Marola smiled. "Fair enough," she said, "but are you sure you won't treat me different than you would from anyone else? You would treat me the exact same way you would treat some old lady you met on the street? Or one of the men attacking those cities you said you've been protecting?" Her smile turned into a grin.

"Of course!" Max said, laughing,"I'll help you across the street and then run you through with a blade. "Is there any other way to treat people you care about?" he asked, laughing.

Marola laughed and shook her head. "The special way you treat people you care about includes both those things, but also you have to have some kind of fun activity with them, and also take them out to dinner at some point. Before you run them through with your blade, of course."

Max laughed, giving Marola a sly look. "You're trying to weasel a free dinner out of me, aren't you?" he said, raising an eyebrow at her.

Marola shook her head. "No, I'm not trying to weasel it out of you. You're taking me, period. If you don't, I'm going to be angry at you until you do."

Max laughed. "Apparently I am," he said, shaking his head,"All right. Right after we outrun the guards, huh? Sound good to you?"

Marola nodded at him, still grinning. "You got it. If we get separated, we'll meet in the middle of the town. West side of the prison. Remember the place?"
